Very disappointing stay
location of the hotel is close to almost everything. shopping centers are walking distance from the hotel. Downturn is very bad internet connection. Staff do not speak english extremely difficult to communicate. With my negative experience, am not returning to this hotel.

The location is quite convenient for tourism, however the quality of the air conditioner is very poor and takes a while to start.

Construction going on next to hotel, very very noisy every days drilling and hacking you not able to sleep when work start. toilet is having a very bad smell which cannot be solve, please think twice if you want to stay here at this moment..

Decent hotel in an excellent location.
This hotel grew on me. It was a decent hotel for the price. The shower was a lot better than it looked and the bed was okay. The air conditioning was good. I felt sorry for the lift that took me up to the seventh floor as it always sounded like it was about to give up on life. What made my stay enjoyable were the staff - great fun to talk with (some only in limited English) and very helpful e.g. booking me a taxi to the airport - which went very smoothly. The cleaning lady was nice too, even though I think she misunderstood most of what I was saying every time we encountered each other. The less said about breakfast the the better, but I didn’t starve so I guess it was okay. The location was excellent.

This location is great to visit Sai Gon city. Food are good with in 3-5 min. walking, Ben Thanh Market, Sai gon Square, Shopping Takashimaya Viet Nam, all travel agent near by, too.

Nice View
Not the first time I have stayed there, very good hotel near the food market area, with bars and shops all within walking distance. The staff are very helpfull and let me checkout a little late. My only concern was breakfast and the cold rubber fried eggs.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good. It was clean. The room on the top floor (8th) was very noisy I think from equipment on the roof vibrating to the top floor. I don’t know if this was a common problem on other floors. Had to wear earplugs to sleep.

Overcharged and refused to refund, false advertising.. no parking only the sidewalk to which their security guards damaged my Ducati and the manager of the hotel just smiled and said oh well when I confronted him about it The “the full breakfast” is a joke ... wouldn’t feed it to my dog! Room was tiny with no windows at all... I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and a few cheap ones but this one is the winner for the worst ever Steer clear!

enjoyed our stay very much from the time we checked in to the time we checked out the staff were excellent and always helpfull. Ben Than markets were only a short stroll away, as was an excellent street food market and good bars.

A Very Nice Hotel
Good location. Near the Behn Thanh market. There are a lot of restaurants and bars nearby. The breakfast served by the hotel is delicious. Will stay in again this hotel next time.

the big room with 1 queen bed and i single bed is too small,the 8 floor room had problem with the water pressure and have to fixed it as soon as you can,so dissappointed about the room,totally different with the photo in the internet and the housekepping did not collect the garbage outside the room unti the next day.sorry not recommended

The place is great, staff are friendly and welcoming and the location is great. One word of caution: we were "upgraded" to the family room... this is not an upgrade!

It's disappointing
The room was too small for a family with three aldults. There was no tissues in our room. On Expedia, it is said this is a 3-star-hotel but actually there is no star. If I knew it's a no star hotel, I would never stay. It's the 1st time and the last time our family stays in this hotel.

Excellent value in central location
I highly recommend Hong Hac as a super central place to stay in HCMC / Saigon 2 mins to Ben Thanh Markets. Great value for a good room, fantastic staff, great breakfast with good variety and very comfortable. Definitely stay again. Very happy experience. Stayed 4 nights.

everything was wrong , no safe as advertised ,they bought a movable safe up after i insisted ,afraid to go out and leave my stuff. Bed was due and should have been replaced 10 years ago .No sheets on be , and bed cover smelt of BO and dirty appeared no to have been changed for a while WIFI virtually non-existent and when it did work was so slow tv had poor reception and most channels were in Vietnamese or English dubbed in Vietnamese So Frustrating room noisy but ear plugs helped passageways and stairwells filled with cleaners rubbish , hate to think what would happen if there was a fire On wall opposite toilet there was a sign stating not flush toilet paper down the toilet ", what do you do with it after you have wiped your bum Seriously I arrived at this hotel hot a sweaty after travelling from Philipines all day ,and after two showers in the hotel I smelt worse due to the smelly bed and bed cover

The room was so tiny, there were barely enough room to walk around and if you have luggages finding space for them was difficult. The service was good, the people were really nice and friendly. They were able to store my luggage for me while I'm on tour for free so that was awesome.
