From day one until the end of my five days stay I found that the staff were always eager to please and assist in every way possible. Informations on tours, service at the restaurant, room service etc. The room cleaning staff always showed up smiling and showing a very positive attitude.
Great pool (around 10 pool loungers so get in early if busy!) and by the river / on the river for breakfast which is lovely, fab free boat trip if you are staying 3+ days and around 100-120kD to go into the centre if you don't use on of the many free hotel buses.
super helpful staff, lovely hotel, we paid for a one bed apartment on expedia and got a huge thee bed one on arrival so very pleased.
Overall, quick runs into town, nice and quiet when relaxing out of the town in district 7. Moor river locals restaurant only 200 yards turning right out of the hotel for great food and it is packed with locals.
Shop int he hotel, very good gym, sauna, pool breakfast. Only negative was one night too many people looking for dinner and it was an hour wait and with kids falling asleep moon river at 200 yards was too far and the hotel sent the hotel bus out for us!! brilliant.
Stayed all over the world from slum to plush and with wife and two kids 5&7 this was a great price and place, would go back if in HCMC, although we try never to go back....only forward ;)
Book with confidence for a good quality stay.

Our first visit to Vietnam. Staying here allowed us the view of the river, a pool for the kids and loads of space in our rooms. It was an easy bus trip into the city or taxi ride. The speed boats river tours even picked ud up at the jetty. Food at the restaraunt was 5 star!
We stayed at the Saigon View for a bit less than two weeks while visiting family in HCMC, and had a great time. The apartment was spacious and in great condition, and the staff were very helpful. The included breakfasts were just okay - for instance, there was a 'Pho day' once per week but the Pho was basically just noodle soup with some meat in it, with no chili or fresh greens. But this wasn't a problem for us at all - there are many good restaurants in the area. We'll probably stay there again when we return next year.
Two quick comments about the other reviews: Like several others, we had booked a 1BR apartment and were upgraded to a 2BR, but there was no attempt to charge us extra - it was just a normal upgrade (and having the extra space was wonderful). And, like some others, we did notice that they very carefully count the silverware on the breakfast trays. There indeed was an instance where two spoons and a plate were thought to be missing, but a careful inventory did show that it was our fault, and everything worked out just fine.
Nothing else to say but a wonderful place to stay. I could live without the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh, but if I come back, I have no problem with saying I will stay here. Friendly staff, very nice accommodations, good location. I loved it. 5 stars.
Hotel convenient and suitable for our stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
Able to walk to various sightseeing places, able to get a quick meal or coffee close by. A mini- market in the building is hanndy for supplies to self cater.
