Nice hotel
Nice hotel in district 1. Our room was nice and spacious (superior room). Pool area was great. Breakfast was also nice. The tea in the afternook with snaks is a nice touch (and will keep you going for a while so you can have diner later in the evening). We felt like the staff at the reception was just ok, not that helpfull (we have been traveling for 3 weeks in Vietnam and we have been used to the welcoming feel of the vietnamese people, but they just didn’t meet up to these expectations). Also, just a tip: they offer shutte airport service for 300 000 dong, but a taxi ride is less than 200 000 dong, so just take a taxi!

Management incompétent
tout était très bien sauf le Management. Pisicine en travaux et non mentionné pendant la reservation ! Réclamations faites au Manager car critère très important pour nous après des heures de marche dans la ville d'avoir une piscine ! Réponse du manager : nous vous offrons un massage, non merci déja fait et nous partons demain, 2 ieme offer : un rabais de chf 9.-- par nuit RIDICULE !

Très bel hotel et jolie décoration. Tout Le personnel est au petit soin et se sent concerné par tout ce qui nous tracasse. Jamais vu une telle gentillesse! Cependant, il y'a une discothèque en sous sol de l'hôtel, donc si vous êtes dans les premiers etages, vous ne pourrez dormir. Sinon, rapport qualité prix, c'est just le top!

Wonderful experience
It was a delightful experience in Alagon d'antique, would definitely go back there, the staff was efficient and warm, breakfast was amazing, the rooftop swimming pool, sauna and hammam are also a huge plus!!!

I had a very nice stay here. It’s actually two hotels in one and has an interesting layout so don’t let that throw you off. The food is very good and breakfast has quite the spread. The staff were very helpful. I had a massage at their spa on my last day and it was wonderful. The location is central to many attractions and food options including the Japanese area if you’re craving something different. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Pros: location, friendly staff, clean, complimentary foot massage was excellent, decent breakfast Cons: only 1 elevator, the shower was weird and hard to opperate without spraying water everywhere, pool is smaller than it looks in the photographs, bed was hard, rooms are not very sound proof - was hearing "house keeping" knocks down the hallway before 9am.

The hotel is well situated to visit the key HCMC landmarks on foot. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The breakfast has a good variety of cuisines. However it is the same every day. Even the fruit selection did not change. The room was very spacious (we did book the executive room). But we were located just below the swimming pool and pool bar and the noise carried. Overall we had a good time in the hotel (breakfast, sleep/shower). We spent a very short time by the pool as it was quite cramped and uncomfortable chairs (no cushions).

We enjoyed our stay here - the rooms were great, the staff were lovely & the breakfast was great with a good variety. It has a good rooftop pool & great views of the city. The only downside was how expensive the laundry was compared to all our other hotels - they charge by the item instead of by kg.

First the positives. The location of this hotel is great if you love to walk. It's less than 10 minutes from both Ben Thanh market and the walking street. Breakfast was great, with pho, steamed rice rolls, banh mi, beef stew, eggs to order, and fruit. The bed was comfortable, with different pillow options and the AC worked well. The gym was good, with some dumbbells and cardio machines. I had one very good massage at the spa, as well as an okay one. The two things that stop me from giving this hotel a 5 rating are: 1) strangely, the breakfast. It was great, however it was EXACTLY the same for the four days I was there. I prefer to eat Asian food for breakfast but by the last day I was having eggs as I needed some variety. 2) the pool. It was very small. It's not that I need to swim lengths. However after a day of wandering in 35C heat, it would be nice to have a cool dip. The pool was so small that it felt like a hot tub by the afternoon. Overall, a very good stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for stays of three days or less.

Good : Expedia made a mistake on detail of reservation, but Alagon D'antique gave us their best. Staff are kind and friendly. Not Good : Swimming Pool was in repair from the day after we check in. They should inform about that before we check in. But they gave us discount for meal services for apologise.

The Alagon D'antique was in a great area, with lots of shopping, restaurants, bars and services close by. The hotel always smelled so good when you enter due to the fresh flowers in the lobby. The breakfast was fantastic! We loved hanging out rooftop, and our Expedia VIP status gave us free drinks/fries up there. The pool seating is a little sparse, so get there early. Lastly, the staff was top notch. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We recommend this hotel.
