“A beautiful Resort!”

I loved my room, the view from the balcony, the pool, the restaurants....everything. The only thing negative I can say is that the food and drinks were way too expensive.

“The Westin is Hilton Head Oasis”

The Westin is where we will stay again. Sure lots of Condos on the island but if you want a clean room, a great view (ask for the 5th Floor) and on site ammenties like 4 pools mutiple options for Breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a short walk to the beach then this is the place for you. Live Music by the pool was a great touch! Check in was easy, quick and everyone was nice and polite We valeted at check in but self parked the rest of the time as parking is right beside (100' away from) the valet lot with over flow below the hotel. While there we dined out a few times and had lots of choices within a few miles.

“Anniversary Weekend at Hilton Head Island”

The hotel was everything it is suppose to be with the Westin name. The young lady (Rebecca) was extremely friendly and helpful. The staff was friendly, smiling and courteous.

“Very fine facility”

The hotel as a resort is very fine however obvious drawbacks are the carpet in the hallways and in my room needed to be replaced last year. The staff is wonderful, the facility is very fine. A very big plus is the basement parking, it is very nice getting into a car that hasn't been baked by the sun. It is more than pleasing but less than superb.

“Lee's wedding weekend”

Staff in all areas-front lobby, check-in, concierge were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff were professional and accomodating to requests. Staff in dining areas were also friendly and prompt with service. My husband thought the hamburger at the outside grill was cooked ahead of time and then microwaved, very unappetizing. Although clean, carpeting in general areas appears old and worn. No exhaust fans in bathroom was a problem. The room was pleasant, we enjoyed the terrace area. I would return but probably stay during the week. Too many loud functions and roudy guests on the weekend.

“early May visit”

This is the third time we have stayed at this facility. We are familiar with the resort and the Island. We intentionally booked our stay before kids got out of school. The hotel was undergoing a lot of rennovation at the time. The pool was closed. Two small pools were open, but too small for anything other than a quick dip. When kids were in the pool, there was not way to get away from the jumping, splashing, squirting guns. Hotel was also installing a new deck, which will be an improvement, but lots of noise. Understand that improvements have to be made, but would have appreciated a notice of the pool being closed. We felt limited. The staff was nice. Breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired this trip, as the hotel was only 50% full, so everything was geared down before the summer rush. Limited items, and times.

“Under repair for impovements but a nice stay!”

Composite decking being installed in the pool area. The main pool was closed. Painting was also being done inside and outside. The carpeting needs to be replaced as soon as possible. All improvements, which will be great, but were somewhat inconvenient and were unexpected. The location is great and the grounds of the resort are beautiful. The staff was very curteous. The beach was very nice. I would stay here again.

“Perfect Spring Break!”

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! The staff was exceptional and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable. The water was temporarily turned off due to a water leak, so the staff offered free bottle water and free breakfast as a courtesy. The grounds are very well kept and was the perfect St. Lucia alternative. We will return!

The beach and hotel was wonderful; the food was good and accommodations very nice. We would definitely stay there again.
