"Just stayed here one night as part of a short visit to the Peak District. The hotel is right in the centre of the beautiful town of Bakewell, so extremely convenient. It’s a beautiful old coaching inn with loads of interesting history. The whole experience was excellent. Lovely room with all the facilities you need and the team in the hotel were fantastic. From the friendly and welcoming check-in experience to the restaurant team, the service was excellent. I would definitely return here and I highly recommend it if you’re visiting the Peak District. "We are repeat visitors to Wildes Derbyshire and love it. Perfectly placed to head on into the Peak District and Sheffield but far enough away to not command the crazy prices. Beautiful hotel with modern but cosy interiors thay give you a sense of luxury. Food is fab. I always come away feeling like we have treated ourselves but without having broken the bank."

"Nice and clean and as expected from Holiday Inn. Loved the sauna and steam room, after a long drive that was much needed. There's also a rapid charger on site which is an absolute God-send as that was one less thing to sort out / look for."

"Stayed here during a cycling break. The staff helped me store my bicycle in a storage room so didn’t need to bring into my room. Good chat with the front room. Easy access to city centre and restaurants. Right in the middle of a cycle lane that goes around the city. Definitely worth going back to this hotel 👍"
