Staff very friendly. Room neat and clean, plenty of room. Breakfast was adequate with plenty of seating available.

The staff was courteous and friendly. The free continental breakfast was outstanding. The evening meal at the hotel's restaurant was very good; well worth it's price.

Stay at this hotel and few years ago and was pleasantly surprised at its renovations. Lovely, comfy rooms. Great breakfast. They take pets with no extra fees. No doubt we'll stay there again.

“We stay here often”

We were disappointed to find that some sections of the hotel are designated as "smoking" rooms and, while our room itself was reserved as no-smoking, it was adjacent to the smoking section. The odor of smoke was pervasive and unwelcome. The staff informed me that the entire hotel will be NON-SMOKING early in 2010.

“Mostly acceptable but with one big plus”

Overall this was just what one would expect for the brand and location. The room was well overdue for an update (the carpet in particular was grubby in a way that mere vacuuming doesn't handle) and the sink stopper was stuck closed. The free coffee was surprisingly good but the restaurant food, including the very limited breakfast buffet, was a grease-festival. The room was quiet and the beds were quite comfortable. The glass-enclosed pool area was the big plus: it was much nicer than most motel pools, and time in the whirlpool after a day of driving was very welcome. (Saunas were also available but we didn't try those.) I would stay again if in the area, just to relax in the whirlpool.

“Not Impressed--recommend it ONLY for the pet allowance and location (close to I80”

as said before, only recommended as a stopover because of location next to I80, and that they take pets. The breakfast was decent, clean and the waffles , and coffee were good. The surroundings were clean -in and out. The take-out , and delivery of food in the area is awful !!! We ordered chinese food from just about the ONLY one around, and these people agreed to deliver where I said , only to get a call later ,an HOUR later , AFTER we settled down for the night, that they wouldn't deliver. Had it been just me, it wouldn't be so bad , but with kids it was a nightmare. The ONLY thing available was McDonalds, pitch black at either end of town--NOTHING else ! and well, yuk. Goodbye, I hope I never have to go THERE again.

“Dissappointing.”

we asked for non-smoking room. but the hallway was filled with smell of cigarett smoke.

“Don't go barefoot, or shoeless for that matter!!”

Room was dirty...went to take a shower, and actually left a footprint in the dirt on the bottom of the tub. There was a sharp item (maybe the carpet tacking) at the flooring transition between room and bathroom - it punctured my foot and my sons foot, and when I told the desk, all they did was write a note to maintenance. The bed skirts were stained, the pillows are half-size standards, and barely large enough for your head. The carpeting has burns, and the the room we were given was on the side of the building facing I-80, and all we heard were tractor trailers going by all night. After finally falling asleep at 3:45 am, we were awakened by the central fire alarm going off at 7:30 am...when I called the front desk, they told me they didn't know why it was going off...upon check-out, I asked again and was told that sometimes people take very hot showers with the bathroom door open, which in turn sets off the smoke/heat detectors outside of the bathroom. Solution: make sure the exhaust fans in the bathroom work and maybe this won't happen. Our fan did NOT work and showering in the small bathroom quickly became suffocating. I can understand why some people leave the door open! A horrible stay overall. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

“the worst ever”

This hotel needs a major overhaul,... no actually it needs to be levelled. The carpets everywhere were filthy, the decor all sixty style, Mold on the walls of our room, sheets and blankets scuzzy and i could go on but you get my drift. Do not stay here................
