“Regular traveller”

Lovely hotel, great location, very helpful staff and good buffet breakfast (with South African specialities - recommend for couples, female travellers and business travellers. Fan rather than airconditioning may be a problem for some.

“NEEDS A GARDENER”

THIS OLD ENGLISH STYLE HOTEL IS OVERRUN WITH PLANTS. WAS VERY HARD TO GET TO OUR COTTAGE ROOM WITHOUT GETTING WET FROM RAIN SODDEN PLANTS. ALL FURNITURE IS OUT OF DATE UNLESS YOU LIKE ANTIQUES. STAFF FRIENDLY BUT A BIT ALOOF. BREAKFAST IS GREAT. WALKING DISTANCE TO ALL SIGHTS AND SHOPS. LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR DINNER FOR THE ON SITE FACILITIES ARE AVERAGE. STAY IN HOTEL PROPER NOT THE COTTAGE.
