Room was clean and property was so quiet. It was also located close to restaurants and a gas station so leaving to grab stuff was fast since it was freezing outside. :)

Their was no Internet, no telephones, no coffee pot in the room and no way to reach anyone at the front desk other than to walk from the building behind the office all the way around.. not pleased at all!!!!

just a sketchy vibe to the whole place, the trim around the door looks like it was ripped out, the tv channels made absolutely no sense, there was still painters tape everywhere from a poorly done renovation, the bed was rock hard with stains everywhere. But the worst thing was the bugs that were EVERYWHERE, we probably killed at least 7 before we gave up and tried to sleep, I woke up at least 4 times in the night from loud noises. Overall it genuinely didn’t feel that safe.

I was disappointed with the smell in the room. I know we are in cattle country but I would prefer the smell of "Hereford money" to be outside the room and not inside. Consider a scent oil plugin to mask the smell. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the TV was great to watch

We definitely overpaid. Dissatisfied. Disappointed
Entire hotel needs maintained/updated. Our room smelled strongly of some type of chemical and vomit. Definitely not worth the cost. The one chair in the room had a huge stain on it and the floors were filthy. Carpets Definitely need to be cleaned (shampooed). We were very disappointed.

The pool is out of service. It is advertised as an amenity but it out of service until further notice. The staff did not know when the repairs would begin or how long it would take to get the pool repaired. I noticed staff taking parking spaces by the pool closest to the sleeping areas. Those spaces should be reserved for guests, especially if guest have many traveling bags.

Best Westerns always offer a good breakfast and this was true of our stay here. The hotel has declined over the years and the last time we stayed here was five years ago. It used to be the nicest place to stay in Hereford. I chose it for the affordability. The room and bathroom was clean; no complaint there. We had trouble with our keys to the back entry. The staff --who could not speak very good English--indicated it was the battery, but they did not change the battery in the door lock while we were there. Also, if you want to swim in the pool, that is not possible. It was still covered with a tarp the third weekend of June.

Hotel OK--website not so much
The stay was fine. The problem was with hotels.com. Apparently two rooms were booked into their system. We only reserved one. It took a bit of effort to NOT be charged for two rooms. Don't believe it was the hotel's fault, but that of hotels.com

The rooms were nasty! Bugs, cigarette butts inside and outside of the room, bodily fluids on the bedding, stains on the chair, there was a 1" gap between the door and the door frame, mold, we checked out 15 minutes after checking in and the front desk lady was rude and couldn't have cared less. the only plus i will give this hotel is the GM gave us a full refund.
