“Convencience of this hotel”

Prices in Europe are high for Americans, but staying in the center city, one block from the Place de Comedia, was great -- we could walk to patisseries, shops to buy pizza, and so on. We made it affordable on our own. The pool at the resaurant was wonderful and I ended each day with a cold beer on the patio. Never ate at their restaurant, probably because we wanted to try others. We were one block from the Tour de France and my grandson loved this.

“Great location and very nice hotel”

The hotel has a friendly front desk and the location was great.. Very clean room and had a small gym.

“Nice but pricey”

The location was not bad... close to the train station. It is a little bit of a walk to other sites around the main part of town. Good service a little pricey though for breakfast and other services. For not including the breakfast the price should be cheaper. It was nice, quiet and clean. Would recommend staying hereif your wallet can afford it.

un personnel à la reception seul alors qu'il est en formation debutant dans le métier) en salle PDJ personnel non competant (discution entre eux devant la clientele, utitlsation portable perso devant la clientèle, nettoyage des tables avec les sets de table qui ont servies et miettes au sol ??? pas de présence et d'observation du client et une tenue vestimentaire : chaussure basket noire pour l'homme.BAR : personnel qui n'ecoute pas les consignes passées par la reception devant la clinetèle je site: une BOUTEILLE c'est ca !?et fait repeter pour une commande de champagne devant mes invités (tres classe) service dans des fluttes pas" clean" gateaux apéritif basic, petites tables du bar pas propre à notre arrivée POUR UN 3 ETOILES MANQUE DE RIGUEUR et de professionalisme.avec mes remerciements.en principe je descends au PULLMAN j'ai voulu tester HOLIDAY INN !

“bel hotel mais à renover d'urgence”

cet hotel ne mérite absolument pas un 4 étoiles car les chambres ne sont pas à la hauteur: les lits sont très bien, la chambre spacieuse mais tout est vieillot parfois dégradé: bords de fenetres à repeindre, salle de bain en mauvaise état et pas confortable, digne d'un 2 étoiles. le lieu est beau, le personnel fait plein d'efforts car il sait que les chambres laissent à désirer Bref un deux à trois étoiles pas mal, un 4 étoiles nul, mais aux prix d'expedia c'est correcte tres proche de la gare ! et calme par rapport aux autres hotels du coin

“Comfortable, but not worth the price”

Having spent most of our stay in Montpellier in a cramped room with no air conditioning, my wife and I decided to fork up the extra $ to spend our last night at the Holiday Inn. The room was in fact very cool and comfortable, and the outdoor pool was decent. Had the staff been friendly and the internet been free, I may have felt that paying 3 times the cost of our hotel across the street was justified. Unfortunately, the staff was quite rude and the internet was a total rip-off (I paid 8.60 euro for 30 minutes on a very slow connection). I'll never understand why it's the expensive hotels that charge extra for things that are included at cheap hotels like internet and premium channels. Bottom line is that I'd only recommend this hotel if someone else is paying your bills.
