“5 Star Service and Rating for my book.”
I went to visit my overcrowded IN-Laws House for Christmas and decided to stay in the same Hotel that I had my Bachelors Party in 32 years earlier...we stayed at the Relax Inn because it was close to their home...It was very clean, and easy to get to, with easy access to various food places, shopping places and attractions. I would easily recommend this quaint little Hotel to anyone looking for a very comfortable bed and a clean shower. My wife said she felt as comfortable here as she did at home. The Staff was wonderful and easily accessible as well. This Hotel has surpassed my expectations of many 4 star hotels I have stayed in in the past. For the money, this is a 5 star hotel in my book. Business Travelers will love this place more than the kiddies...but maybe not... the ducks and geese outside our window made the ambiance even better for the wildlife enthusiast in me. Whomever maintains this Hotel is very good at his job because we saw several things that were well thought out and maintained. I know this hotel is at least 32 years old and I felt like I was in a brand new room. Cudos to the man doing the maintenance. The only thing I could find that didn't meet my requirements was the heating and cooling unit...it was so quiet I couldn't hear it and I am used to sleeping under a fan for the noise. I guess someone always has to have something to gripe about. All in all, I have to give this place a 5 star rating. We couldn't be happier, Unless we got to stay for free.
“Surprise”
The hotel was a very nice surprise. Since it was very small and hidden off the street, I expected a roach motel, but it was one of the few vacan rooms in town. While small, the room was newly remodeled and clean. Only suggestion is that they might need to provide face tissues.

The motel was small but clean and tidy. Bath towels were a little old and on the thin side.

The room smelled like smoke. Definitely does NOT look like it does in the advertisement!
“OK for the price paid”
Not great but was convenient for what I needed at the time. Was worth the price paid. Especially liked the small refrigerator in room!
