“Great Hotel”

Room very comfortable and cosy and clean. Enjoyed the varied choice of fare at Breakfast. Staff polite and helpful. I am so pleased I ended up at Cumulus Olympia. It has its own restaurant and bar attached for those who choose to stay put and a free internet service for browsing emails/surfing the net etc. Didn't have time to sample the Sauna which is on the 8th floor. I was delighted and would highly recommend this Hotel.

“comfortable with great breakfast”

We would stay again. Hotel staff were helpful, spoke English, and the hotel was located across the street from a tram which provided a short ride to city center, the wharf or wherever. Although the room was small, the TV provided access to a wide variety of channels and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel seemed to be frequented by locals primarily. Hotel Cumulus Olympia was so much less expensive than the other hotels in Helsinki like the Radisson.

“Good place to stay in Helsinki”

The Hotel Cumulus Olympia is a great budget hotel, keeping in mind that prices in Finland are generally slightly higher than the rest of Europe, the Hotel offers nice, comfortable rooms with a friendly staff. The trade-off is that to reach the center of town you need to take a short tram ride, but they are often and well maintained. Also, while the breakfast is plentiful, the food quality is closer to a 3 on the 5 scale.

“Close to Olympic Stadium, next to bus/tram stop”

I chose it because I was running the Helsinki marathon, it was indeed close to the start site in the stadium. Internet terminal in lobby is free for 20 min usage, breakfast is included and is right next to a restaurant. I also got sick, and receptionist was kind to help me through, very kind and knowledgable staff. Was there 3 nights, had a good time.

“Room was very clean but a little small”

A short tram ride from the city center but not walking distance. Room was very clean and modern but a little small. Room also had free Internet access with the Ethernet cable waiting underneath the desk.

“Ne regrette pas mon choix”

Pas trop loin du centre ville (1/2 h a pied), chambre assez petite, mais bon rapport qualité/prix. Internet "gratuit" avec le cable Ethernet (WiFi payant mais ne sert à rien ici) Restaurant basique dans l'hotel.

“efficient”

A very well run clean efficient hotel, a little sparse for my tastes but the staff was helpful & courteous. Breakfast was good, great selection of foods, rooms were spotless.Location a little too far for my purposes, I required to be more central location but public transportation was fast and efficient. Also hotel was very quite a plus as well. I would recommend to others for a simple and efficient hotel for sure,.

“Hotel ne correspondant pas à ce que promet la première vue”

Les photos de l'hotel laissaient envisager un service de meilleure qualité,mais... Toutefois,l'accueil a été sympa les personnes faisant à chacune de nos demandes, l'effort de bien expliquer en Français ou en Anglais. Par contre,le service de ménage des chambres laissait vraiment à désirer,l'entretien devant être plus que rapide, les vitres portant des traces antérieures à notre arrivée. Le service du petit dejeuner, le garçon débraillé un peu plus chaque jour préférait faire la conversation à ses collègues féminines plutot que de débarasser les tables et souvent les clients devaient se faire eux mêmes une place sur la table pour poser leurs tasses

“Un rapport qualité prix acceptable”

La chambre pour une personne est un peu petite. Par contre, elle n'était pas bruyante et propre. Le restaurant est de bonne qualité. Les transports en commun passent à la porte de l'hotel : aucun problème pour aller au centre ville. Quelques restaurants à proximité, ainsi qu'une épicerie.
