“Great location and service”

it is a very good option, very clean and comfortable. Walkable distance to the train station and to the airport bus depating every 30 minutes. I enjoyed the stay and was very easy to move around from there.

Hotel is very near railway, bus and metro stations. Shops, restaurants, museums etc all a short walk away.

“Good hotel at great location”

The Holiday Inn is located centrally at the Bus Station (Take the Finnair Express from the Airport to the central bus terminus where the hotel is located; 6.20 euros as of Jul 2011). It is in the heart of everything you need; 2 minutes to the central shopping area, Stockman's etc; a 10 minute walk to the harbor with all the sights in between. This is not a luxury hotel but one of the better Holiday Inns with a friendly helpful staff, very clean rooms and a reasonable price. One of the best hotel deals out there and I would definitely stay there again because of its convenience. Location across from the Bus Station is a huge plus for getting back to the airport and surprisingly there was no noise to be heard in the room despite the coming and going of buses all day.

“A much better than expected hotel.”

Great location, steps to many attractions and a short walk to many others. Rooms are well noise proofed, no noise from buses or trains. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was quite good. top marks for business travel. Very good value for money.

“Helsinki Accessible”

The Holiday Inn Central is located at the train station. It is not a beautiful location, but it is very handy for getting around by train, tram, and bus. Accessible to center city entertainment in walking distance. Prices in Helsinki are high to Americans and this is as reasonable as it gets.

“Train variant”

This is extremely convenient location hotel, near the Central Railway station. Best for travellers by train. Sort of Okay for a couple of nights.
