Disappointed with the lack of cleanliness. the carpets were not vacuumed daily and the condition of the rooms was also not as clean as I would have expected.

outdated and room in bad condition

Posted 21-Jan-2015
Pros: Nice people and it suited my needs for the most part.
Pop corn ceilings, peeling wallpaper, not to mention that one of the lamps in my room didn't even have a light bulb in it! The bathroom sink didn't drain well, and there were no complimentary bath items other than one little bar of soap. No shampoos, etc. To their credit they were in the middle of some renovating down in the lobby area...

This Hotel needs to get with it

Posted 18-Jan-2015
Cons: The woman at the front desk told me that Expedia always reserves handicapped rooms when I told her about the shower situation. I don't recall seeing a
My flight arrived after midnight so I was late getting to the hotel and it was cold out (teens if not single digits). I checked into the Hotel and went to my room. Imagine my dismay when I opened the door and the room was cold. They had rented the room but no one had gone down there to turn the heater on. As a result it was very late until the room was warm enough to go to bed and get to sleep. Secondly, and you are somewhat to blame for this as well, the room I was given was a handicap capable room. The shower is therefore wheelchair accessible and with poor drainage the floor of the bathroom would get flooded from taking a shower. And finally, I stayed in this hotel last June. The Dining/Lounge area was under construction then and still is. As a result it doesn't appear that they are getting many guests, at least not to the dining area. The Hotel seems to be dying. They need to get with it.

Room was great. Very clean and comfortable. Lobby was under construction or a remodel, and very noisy! Restaurant in the lobby was good. Healthy portions at a good value.

Ok for sleeping

Posted 29-Dec-2014 on Hotels.com
My husband and I stayed here over Christmas while we were visiting his family. The room was fine - but the hotel in general seemed run down. It seems they have updated the rooms, but not the rest of the hotel. Which was okay as we were there to spend time with family and not hang out at the hotel. The bed was very comfy. The staff was not very attentive. When we checked out, I stood at the front desk for several minutes before hollering, "hello?" and finally someone came out from the back. When we tried to eat the restaurant, it said it was open and to come in and seat yourselves. We did that but after waiting several minutes with no sign of anyone, we left and went to a restaurant in town. Also, the elevator is tiny. When we tried to maneuver the luggage cart in everything fell off because it barely fit in there. If you need a comfy bed, this would be fine, but the hotel overall is not as impressive as I expected, given that I paid $80 a night but it was on sale from $120. If I had paid $120 I would've been really irritated.
