Good valuePosted 24-Feb-2014
Pros: Location - easy on/off highway. Quiet. Friendly staff. Clean room.
Cons: Free Internet connection didn't work very well. Room heater quickly heats room, but difficult to settle on comfortable temp.
Clean, comfortable room on a very quiet Friday/Saturday night stay. Decent free breakfast selection. Friendly staff. Will stay there again.

They say pets welcomed - not so muchPosted 30-Nov-2013
Cons: Clerks need to make sure clients feel welcome
Room was exceptional. Breakfast was disappointing (cereals, breads, biscuits/gravy). All of the web materials suggest that pets are welcome ($15 fee) - but when we arrived, the clerk said "oh thats a problem" - "how large - we only accept dogs < 50 lbs" - "I do not know, we have problems with dogs in rooms" - "if you make a mess we will charge you". We definitely did not feel that pets are welcome - and there was no mention of a weight limit for dogs.

Room was OK. Mattress on bed was terrible and sagged badly. Breakfast was OK. If you are looking for inexpensive, then it is fine.

This hotel needs some TLC. It is definitely run down.

Fantastic stayPosted 20-Oct-2013 on Hotels.com
Front desk staff was outstanding. Very friendly. I think the owner/manager was there and I chatted with him. Real nice. The hotel is kind of hidden but I had no problem getting there. My room was very comfortable, spacious. It even had a mini fridge and microwave which was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was really large and very clean. Didn't have breakfast in the morning, just made coffee in my room.

The hotelPosted 14-Oct-2013
It was a good price, clean, the staff was friendly, and the bed was comfortable. The wi-fi worked, there was a nice-sized mini refrigerator, and the view was beautiful. The heat worked well, and it was quiet. I don't require fancy; just clean and comfortable, and this was it.

Hotel off Cedar Street ExitPosted 30-Sep-2013
Pros: Easy access off Interstate
Cons: Staff could be friendly and the rooms need to be cleaned
Location: Off Cedar Street Exit. Close to Interstate. Was in town for specific purpose only so don't really know what was nearby.
Check in staff was not friendly and had difficulty getting us checked in. Pet fee was $15.00 and not disclosed on Expedia ahead of time so upset about that being so much. Owner/manager could hardly speak English and not friendly. Room was not clean. Needed a vacuum and the bathroom was not clean. Would not recommend

Bad Location and indifferent staffPosted 17-Sep-2013 on Hotels.com
Even though this motel fronts the interstate, it is not intuitively obvious how to get to it. The facility itself was fine, but total indifference at the desk when checking in and literally being locked out of the breakfast room at 9:05 earned low marks for service. This would have to be decidedly cheaper or the town booked up before I would choose this property again.
