Pros-The hotel is only 10 minutes close to the old town. The area is quite and close to few restaurants and cafes. Cons- I am very disappointed by the reception. The one person worst than the other- the only exception was Mark. The breakfast was good, but it was exactly the same During our 7 days stay. And as long as we were there for New Year’s Eve, we expected something more and different especially for this day

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very warm during the night and uncomfortable. We should have complained to the front desk. The included breakfast was sufficient and welcomed. The hotel is walking distance from the old city and castle. We woulld stay here again.

Great hotel in the heart of Heidelberg. Short walk from main train station with a train/trolly/bus stop just out front. Staff was excellent and helpful. There are a wide range of foods for breakfast. Missing/forgot anything...staff goes out of way to assist. Room was very clean, efficient and had just what we needed.

Convenient and pleasant hotel
Nice clean room in a hotel halfway between main station and the old town. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Free breakfast was excellent and much appreciated. There's also a supermarket on the first floor and a tram stop right outside. Minor negative points: no fridge (although this is common in most of Europe), and the air conditioning could have been a little more effective. However, these are only quibbles.

Nice room in good location with convenient indoor underground parking on a few minutes to Heidelberg Castle and the old town. Room was a bit small for 2 people with 6 weeks of clothing.

For the price would have liked to have better understanding of parking charges. Was surprised I had to spend additional for overnight parking.

The parking fees in the underground garage in the basement of the building is EUR 18,00 per night per vehicle. Unfortunately, we have no influence on the amount of the charges, as it is a public underground garage and the price is fixed elsewhere. The colleagues at the hotel reception are very well acquainted with the surrounding area and are happy to help with tips on where you can park your car on the streets near the hotel at a lower cost. Only an overnight stop but the hotel was very clean, loved the huge shower, and the car park was convenient although quite steep charge for it. Good value for money and Heidelberg is a lovely city. Great supermarket underneath the hotel for provisions for a long journey which is worth a visit.

It was hot! We’re from Florida and even we were hot! We opened the windows but was not enough to get rid of the backdraft, we were told that the air does not go on unless the temperature outside is above 71 Fahrenheit. Great parking! 30-40 minute walk to main pedestrian walk area. Sidewalk is ample on main hotel street to walk there. The location itself is not a pretty street as it’s a Main Street but the streets behind have cute cafes to stop in for a bite or beer.

Staff was super friendly and breakfast was good. Great location-easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Beds were not comfortable, however, and there were only 2 towels for 3 people, but of course staff provided more when asked. There was a very harsh chemical/cleaning agent smell in the hallway so we kept our room window open the whole time for fresh air
