The front staff working when I checked in was very kind and helpful. However: The bathroom looked like it was in the middle of a remodeling project, with hair in the tub. I did not have a comforter or blanket on my bed, so it was difficult to keep the temperature in my room at a comfortable level.

Would consider this a below average stay. Room had dirt all over the floor upon entering. Area around the hotel had scattered cigarette pieces. Breakfast was underwhelming. Overall, just wasn’t terribly accommodating

Fix the pool
I don't think it is fair to make people pay the normal cost of a room when things are broken in it and nobody has been there to pay for it. Amenities are a high priority of people staying.

Terrible motel, awful general manager bully!!
general manager and another staff member were VERY rude from time of check in until check out. they accused my grandchildren of "trashing the pool bathroom when in fact they were in the pool swimming and someone else was in the bathroom. my nieces came to swim with the grandkids and we were charged $20.00 for them to swim, even though I was there for 3 nights! I will be calling corporate office. their attitude frightened my grandchildren so we checked out early. never stay here!!

Breakfast was great. Mold in the bathroom shower. Key pad broken to the pool/ hot tub room. Not always someone available to assist you. Timer not working on the hot tub. Vending machine not working properly.

Not worth the money
The hotel had a great location but the rooms were old and tired. We would not use the bath tub as it looked dirty or moldy aroun the caulking. If we paid less than $150 we may have been ok, but for this price we expected much more

I have never been so disappointed by a room being so disgusting as the room we stayed in was. We finally checked out a day early just to get out of the filth. The main area that was disgusting was the bathroom. A majority of the caulk between the shower wall and the tub was totally covered with mold. The other area was the a/c that was extremely noisy and dirty.

Did not have a shower curtain for my first day so water flowed all over the floor in the bathroom. They did install a shower curtain and rod on the second day. Breakfasts were good and the pool was very nice. Bed was comfortable.

Not best for older couples
The staff was great, the breakfast bar was OK, but: soft drink machines didn't work, no elevator, no ice on the 2nd floor, the carpet was dirty and torn, no sheets or towels service for 3 days, the TV service went out.

Staff were helpful. One of two rooms was very musty smelling and the other rooms carpet was damp. Area around the pool windows was peeling and dirty with cobwebs and dead flies. Door key access to the pool was not working. Hot tub jets were not working. The motel needs upkeep and renovation.

Disappointed and won’t return
To begin, when checking in the two employees where more concerned with continuing their conversation than actually checking in folks for the weekend. Secondly when we entered our room there was an overwhelming musty smell. They had a window open( I assume to air the room out). All the of the bedding and the couch all felt a little damp to the touch. The “clean” foot mat for the shower was wet and folded over the tub (again still wet). The carpet was sticky and we found what looked like mold on the wall under the bathroom sink. Shower was also not clean.

Clean, underwhelming, overpriced
Very overpriced. We were visiting family and had few choices up in this somewhat isolated area. I’m guessing they decided to price gouge anyone who has to travel up there, as it was hardly full on a summer weekend. It was clean but very dated. The bathroom was very small, not many places to put things there and throughout the room. They offer a free breakfast, which is nice, but the coffee was some of the worst I’ve had. I don’t think there’s an elevator to the second floor, like an interior motel.

First room smelled of urine and we discovered source of odor in the bathroom. Toilet was not cleaned and had not been flushed. Second room was better but door was very hard to open and close which would be a significant hazard if there were a fire. Thought it was unusual that the windows (ground floor room) were not locked.

Breakfast had a great selection. One of the workers carried my suitcase down the stairs for me, which was very helpful. Will come back.
