Property Amenities
Mauna Lani Point is in the 3,200-acre Mauna Lani Resort on the sunny Kohala Coast of Hawaii's Big Island. The beach, spa, and health club with lap pool and tennis courts are within a three-minute drive. Kings' Shops at Waikoloa is 10 miles away and the town of Waimea is 25 minutes away.
The on-site waterfall pool at this Hawaii resort adjoins a pavilion with three gas barbecues; indoor and outdoor dining tables; and a kitchen with four-burner stove, oven, full refrigerator, and sink. The pavilion can be reserved for private parties. The property features a private beach and a complimentary shuttle service within the Mauna Lani Resort is available upon request.
Guests have signing privileges at the golf course, spa, health club, and two restaurants. The award-winning Mauna Lani Spa features unique Hawaiian style treatments including nine unique outdoor treatment rooms and a naturally heated outdoor lava rock sauna.

This gated community offers a total of 116 condominiums in nine sand-and-earth-tone buildings. Units are either upstairs or downstairs; upstairs units have vaulted ceilings. All have fully equipped kitchens that open to living/dining areas. Two white pillars frame floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that open to wraparound lanais with fairway, ocean, or garden views. Other amenities include washer/dryers, DVD players, and complimentary wired (high-speed) Internet access.

Dining
The condo community does not have its own restaurant but is part of the Mauna Lani Resort, where two restaurants offer signing privileges. The condos themselves have full kitchens; grocery-delivery service is available (surcharge).
Mauna Lani Gallery Restaurant - Ocean-view, clubhouse-style restaurant showcasing fresh island ingredients. Casual lunch; more-formal dinner.
Mauna Lani Beach Club Restaurant - Located on a crescent of white-sand beach. Quiet, private club serving pupus, salads, and sandwiches mid-morning until late afternoon.
Recreation
The heated, freeform splash pool with a waterfall is surrounded by a sandstone deck.
The development is part of the Mauna Lani Resort, home to the 36-hole, championship Francis H. I‘i Brown Golf Course (surcharge). Guests have complimentary access to the private Beach Club at Makaiwa Bay (two-minute drive), with its crescent of white-sand beach, calm bay, and numerous aquatic activities. The resort provides discounted access to the Racquet Club fitness center, with a 25-meter, three-lane lap pool; six tennis courts (three lighted); weight and cardio rooms; a pro shop; and classes such as yoga and Pilates (extra charge for classes). Bird watching and ecotouring are available nearby.

“Geat little condo”
If I golfed it would have been a perfect place to stay. Short drive or little walk to the beach or pool. Lots to explore if you take the time. Comfy bed too.
“Very Nice Place to Stay”
Beautiful surroundings, very good service, convenient pool, golf, and beach access, great to have full kitchen and laundry in our unit. Only negatives were very minor - some of furniture could use updating, and check-in desk not easy to locate - was behind a security building rather than adjacent to actual units. (Granted it was dark when we arrived, tired after a long flight, but an introductory email with check-in information would have made this easier). Staff was great and very helpful. Would definitely recommend Mauna Lani Point to others visiting the Big Island. Note to other travelers - food is more expensive in Hawaii - if doing grocery shopping, try stocking up in Kona (perhaps Walmart) rather than the nearby market - may save some money. :)
“Skip the Hotel, stay in a Condo with a Kitchen”
Mauna Lani Point was spectacular. The condo exceed our expectations. Having a kitchen and not having to depend on restaurants is the way to go. The Condo offers a nice view of the ocean and a perfectly manicured golf course. The resort area itself is quite secure and excellent for walking, running or bicycling. There is a short walk to an excellent beach or if you prefer a 2 minute drive to a gated parkling lot will also get you there. Mauna Lani Point is behind a secured gate and comes with a common pool area with outdoor kitchen and 4 nice gas BBQ's.

The view was fabulous. The location was great. The golf course was beautiful. It was really nice having daily maid service at a condo. Made it feel that you weren't doing all the regular household duties.
“Stay in Paradise”
Stayed at Mauna Lani Point Condos 4/11 with our two daughters 6 and 9; we had a wonderful time. The condo is gorgeous, very private, and the kitchen was such a nice bonus. The pool area with open barbecues is very convenient for cooking your own dinners not to mention very beautiful. The beach club was awesome; kids snorkeled right off the beach and could see tons of fish just a few feet out. Cant wait to go back!

Great place to stay golf, swimming, beach, restaurants, families or couples, shopping all in one spot. Had a wonderful time would highly recommend staying here. Maholo for a wonderful visit. We will be back.
