“Best Beach on the Big Island”

This was the second time we've stayed at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. Very well pleased each time. Friendly, very accommodating staff. The most wonderful beach you'll find on the Big Island...fabulous views all around! Secluded and relaxing resort.

“Beautiful Hotel”

The beauty of the hotel and cleanless was excellent. The landscape is breathtaking with all the flowering bushes and the ocean view sunsets were grand. We would definetly stay here again. The only compalain we had was the mattress on the bed was not firm enough.

I stayed at the Hapuna in August but I'm just now getting around to writing a review. It was a quasai family vacation. The hotel was great, it's located in a great area of the Big Island. Everything was perfect especially the very open layout to the hotel. The beach was perfect for swimming and snorkeling...which can not always be said of other Big Island beaches. Yes, the decor needs updating and the food options are limited but honestlythe hote, it's staff and location was great. My family has the option of going elsewhere next year (island wise) but they refuse to even hear of it. The whole family fell in love with not just the island but the hotel as well. Every now and then I close my eyes and can still smell the aromatic ocean breeze that filled the corridors and passageways. : )

“Island leisure at its best”

One of the best stays we have ever had. The beach was the best of any we have experienced anywhere in of all of Hawaii. Great staff, food, and comfort.

“Wonderful, relaxing, beautiful. This is a great hotel.”

I picked the Hapuna Prince for our family vacation due to the calm ocean and beautiful beach. We upgraded to a beach front room and it was well worth it. The rooms are very nice and the beds are comfy. The snorkeling is great in the little cove just North of the main beach. You can swim around some rocks to get there or just walk there. It was practically deserted and sea turtles frequently would swim right up into the cove. Amazing! The breakfast buffet is great and the view from the outside dining area is breathtaking. It is a bit pricey, but kids were free which made it a good deal. The kids also ate free at the pool (with adult meal purchase) The concierge was very helpful in planning our activities outside the hotel. The staff was warm and friendly. Just a great place to go! Definitely recommended.

“Excellent”

The Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel was excellent, the service, view, friendliness were all fantastic. Remember to bring your checkbook though, or go to the local Costco, or WalMart for some supplies for your stay. While the breakfast buffet was good it was not 30 dollars good, add that up over the week and you could save yourself some cash for other activities. All in all the hotel was fantastic, in a perfect location, and would seriously consider returning if we were to return to the big island

“Great hotel to be pampered and relax.”

Hotel design and setting - Beautiful Staff - superb Beach - a dream, and very friendly and helpful lifeguards Pool - very nice Restaurants - great food and service Spa - a wide array of choices to pamper Shopping in the hotel- nice stores Cleanliness - except for the problem with the mildew, good overall When you arrive at this lovely hotel, you will breath in the plumeria- and sea-scented air, look at the gardens and the beach, and feel instantly relaxed.
