“Best choice in Hilo”

I would definately recommend the ocean side of the hotel. Nice balcony with beautiful view of Coconut Island and various water activities. In my opinion, this "Harbor" view is better than a plain "ocean front" view. Food prices in the hotel were resonable. The adjacent park is fantastic and the Banion trees were outstanding.

Received and processed quickly. All very friendly and helpful. Room spacious and clean. Great view of ocean. On the water. Park close by for nice walks.Food good in restaurant. Light food chices in Lounge good and reasonably priced. Location excellent to airport and area very quiet.

“Hilo Hawaiian”

This hotel was an older hotel, but it was very clean and the rooms were huge! Every room had a nice balcony with enough room for chairs. Overall the hotel was great!

“Would definitely stay there again”

We had a very nice room on the 7th floor, overlooking Hilo Bay. The hotel was fully booked, but there was never a sense of too many people. Staff was helpful and friendly.

“Good value for the price.”

The hotel needs a new sign. I drove past it 2 times in the dark. And followed a friend who drove past it. The restaurant is too pricey for its food but the island does not offer much competition (my best food was native fruit bought in store). The cleaning staff was the best part. The front desk was helpful but occasionally inaccurate about the island.

Out stay was great. The meals were excellent and the prices affordable. The view from the dining room is gorgeous!The large Japanese Garden Park next to the hotel is a nice extra. The staff was as helpful and friendly as could be. Hope to go back soon.

“Best in Hilo”

After staying at several other very disappointing hotels, I am very happy with this one. It is not luxury, but the rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is friendly. I recommend it.
