The villas offer one-, two-, and three-bedroom units located in two-story buildings with exterior access. Overlooking the Waikoloa Resort's Beach Golf Course, the units have private balconies or patios with teak furnishings.
Island-inspired decor includes tropical prints, wood furnishings, and ceiling fans. Kitchens have granite countertops, stoves, dishwashers, full-size refrigerators, microwaves, coffeemakers, dinnerware, and cookware.
Each of Aston Waikoloa Colony Villas' units has at least two bathrooms and a washer and dryer.
Smoking is not permitted inside hotel rooms.
The hotel provides two complimentary bottled waters upon arrival.

“Nice, quiet accommodations in a great location”
We spent a week here in the middle of October 2011. The buildings and grounds are maintained in top form, but since this is one of the more recently built complexes, I guess that's to be expected. We had booked a one bedroom, but received a two bedroom at the same price. The unit was large and nicely furnished. The management at the front office was very friendly, with advice and tips on activities and places to eat. While not exactly in walking distance, the King's Shops and Queens Market is just a couple minutes by car. Our main interest in staying here was the close proximity to A-bay and Hapuna. The last time we stayed down in Keauhou and the drive to these lovely beaches consumed too much "island time". We did drive down to Kona about every day, but having a place close by to shower, change or take a nap after snorkeling was great. We didnt see a lot of other guests during our stay at the Villas, probably due to the time of year and the economy. I imagine it will be busier between Christmas and March as people come to escape the winter weather. I highly recommend looking at the Waikoloa Colony Villas if you want to escape the noise and crowds found at the big resorts in the area. A big mahalo to Desiree and the rest of the Aston staff for insuring our stay there was pleasant and trouble free. We look forward to staying there again.
“Nice condo, but far from most activities”
We have stayed in many Waikaloa condos. this one might be the nicest from the perspective of rooms/space, but was much farther from the beach than we thought from the website.
“Very nice Villa-type hotel”
We really liked the location and size of the rooms in this villa. Although our initial request for 1King/1Queen or 2 Queens was not honored, and we had to work with the hotel the next day to move us to a better room, they did do a good job the next day to get us a different room. Overall our stay was satisfactory. We were also happy with the location especially, the stores around the resort.
“Fantastic condo”
This is the first condo experience we have had in travel....and we will stay in condos from now on whenever possible. Two tvs, two bathrooms, plenty of space, complete kitchen, no neighbor noise....fantastic! In fact, we almost bought one. The grounds here are beautiful 2 pools, lush gardens, easy parking, and the entire Waikoloa area is luxurious and green. This side of the island is dry and brown, so the green, garden feel of the resorts feels great. There is a drive to all sight seeing areas, which is a negative, but we'd book again in a heartbeat.
“Wonderful vacation”
Me and my son stayed and it was wonderful...the staff were so helpful and understanding..even gave us a late checkout because our plane didnt leave till early evening..they were wonderful and the accomodations were great...absolutely beautiful.

Ideal location. It is close to Shopping Center and 5 star hotels. Not crowded. you can do lot of walking. Lot of fresh air.

We loved the accommodations. The 3 bedroom condo/villa was clean and spacious. They thought of everything, kitchen utensils, laundry soap, etc. It was quiet and safe. The price was right too!

We love the Big Island and all it offers. The Aston Waikoloa Colony Villas were a great choice for our family. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet- a most beautiful vacation spot.
“Airy, clean and quiet”
Our spacious condo in Waikoloa Colony Villas had soaring high ceilings with lots of natural light. It was well decorated, clean and comfortable, with two furnished decks for enjoying the outdoors. We particularly enjoyed all the beautiful birds that showed up in the early morning and early evening for meals.
