“Feels like home”

Hotel Richemond is all about the people who work there. Everyone was friendly and "bend over backwards helpful". The hotel has an old rustic feel, but is comfortable and was really a great deal. Breakfast was great and the lobby was very comfortable. The room was simple, but clean and spacious. The location in town and right next to the bus (to access skiing) made it the most convenient option for me. I would go back in a heartbeat just to visit the people I met in the hotel. I didn't see another hotel in Cham that I liked better, for the price.

“Old school hotel with history stay here”

Old hotel nothing fancy. Very clean. Best location in Chamonix. Staff is very helpful. This place is old school. Is noisy (creaky floors and doors)but if you ski all day you wont care. I can't wait to go back to Chamonix.Will stay here again.Great place to stay if you don't need fancy.Walk to everything.

“I would stay here again”

Nothing fancy about this hotel, solid, clean, nice staff, the location is great, Chamonix is not that big so you are pretty much in the center of everything. Fair price, nothing fancy, but if you don't care about that then you'll be fine. Beautiful views from room.

“We loved Hotel Richemond”

This hotel was just wonderful. All of the staff members were very polite, friendly and helpful. The view from out room was outstanding! Our room was very charming, and after learning about the history, I could imagine what it was like in years past. We do plan on returning to Chamonix in the next year, and we plan on staying at the Hotel Richemond again.

“Great staff, but amenities a bit lacking”

The staff were VERY helpful in helping us find good hikes, explaining the bus/train system, etc. Our room had a bath tub, no shower; apparently some rooms have showers and no tubs. The sheer curtains in bathroom made us reluctant to turn on the light in there at night. Our room had no hair dryer. I don't mind walking around in the summer with wet hair, but I wouldn't want to do that in the winter! Great croissants at breakfast--best I had in France!

“Great Location”

A few steps off the main street in Chamonix. A two minute walk to the ski bus. The hotel is older but clean and comfortable. The staff is wonderfully polite and helpful. Highly recommended unless you're fussy about decor.

“For a great price, I strongly recommend”

The Richemond is very well located in the centre of the Chamonix village. A bus stop is right in front that gives access to a short ride to every lift in the valley. The price is hard to beat for the quality of room you get and how clean it is kept. It is not a high end hotel but it is kept as clean as one. The hotel staff speak English very well, are friendly as well as helpful with everything from how to get around to what wine to choose for après ski. The breakfast was great every morning with breads, juices, tea, coffee, fruit salad, cereal, croissants, etc. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay at a great rate. I would go back.
