“Nous y retournerons”

“Perfectly located!”
We stayed at this hotel last weekend for a Tattoo Convention it was perfectly situated within a five minute walk to convention centre. The hotel rooms were a little small, decor a little tired but very clean, maid service was daily and after all it was only a 2*. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly, they made you feel very welcome and helped with any local information you needed. Rooms didn't have tea & coffee making facilities which was a bit disappointing but there was a cold drink vending machine near the dining room. Even with the couple of negatives we would definately stay again and will be doing so same time next year.

Perfect location in the heart of the old city, modern and clean, wisely priced. Really convenient and nice staff. The location of the hotel is all about, the hotel itself isnt special, though spotless clean and with decent facilities. You may get a room with a garden view.

Tres bonne situation au centre ville dans une rue pietonne. Notre chambre était simple, au 5eme étage avec vue sur le lac. Petit déjeuner souriant et correctment garni. Bref, un très bon rapport qualité /prix.
“Good property, but penny-pinching ruins it”
Good property, good location, good rates, but they did not provide enough heat for the top floor room. We had to fill the tub with hot water to get some heat, which probably cost them extra money. It makes sense to save energy, so maybe they could provide heaters to the colder rooms in the hotel. Also, did not tell us that breakfast was not included or how much it would cost.
“Adequate for the price”
This is not a luxury hotel, but is reasonable for the price. The bedroom was small, but had good storage space, and extremely efficient heating (we had to open the window to shut it off). The bathroom was not so good. It was cold, had only a hand-held shower in the bath (no curtain or screen cubicle), and the supply of hot water was very erratic. The breakfast was very basic - not much choice, but adequate quantity. The free car park at the back of the hotel rear garden was a bonus, although difficult to find first time. The hotel is generally rather dinghy and old fashioned, but is in a good location and in easy reach of Geneva, Montreux, as well as the French Alps.
