“Excellent Hotel and Location”
The hotel was on the edge of the pedestrian area and about a 10 minute walk to the lake. The staff was friendly and helpful.
“BW carleton, Annency France. a wonderful hotel.”
We visited Annency in August 2010 and found the old town very crowded so be forewarned. The old town has relatively narrow streets and there were a lot of visitors. The BW Carleton is very close to old town. Tricky to find without a GPS but we had one fortunately. We did a day trip to Geneva and Chamonix, which we thrououghly enjoyed..

Our room was on the 7th floor and it was perfect since you could see over the surrounding buildings towards the chateau and various churches.
“Well placed Annecy hotel”
My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel which was ideally placed in Annecy - under 5 minutes from both the rail/bus stations and from the medieval town of Annecy. The hotel was welcoming and the reception staff spoke English and were very helpful. Our room was small but contained everything one could need including a good ensuite shower and hairdryer. The room was well serviced every day and the breakfast (for which we paid extra) was a really good one with a lot of choice. We would stay there again if we were visiting Annecy.

Un hôtel très bien situé a proximité de beaucoup de restaurant ainsi que de beau endroit! L'accueil a la réception est vraiment de qualité avec des personnes disponible a n'importe quelle heure du jour comme de la nuit. Vraiment rien a redire!
“Great location”
The Best Western Carlton is a delightful place to stay when visiting Annecy. The room was excellent and service and cleanliness first class. Most important, it was just one block from Old Town.

As an American, some European hotels accomodate a little better than others. This one was perfect! The bathroom was spacious, everything was recently updated, the beds were comfortable, and the location was just a short walk to all the fabulous things Annecy has to offer! The gal at the desk recommended 3 different restaurants and we could not have been more pleased. The parking was a little "sketchy" for my taste, but it worked out fine. I would certainly stay at this hotel again if I ever have the pleasure of returning to this cute little city!
“Excellent location”
This was a brilliant location for Annecy just a 5 min walk from the station and a 2 min walk into the old town plus the lake is only a 10 minute walk too so this more than makes up for the slightly cramped rooms. But the hotel is very clean and not too big and in a quiet location so I would definitely stay there again!!
