“Close to wembley”
Great Hotel, clean and cheap!!!
“Exactly what was expected”
The Staff were friendly. The Hotel itself was in need on a facelift but the bedding and towels were changed daily with crisp white laundered sheets and soft white towels. The bed was comfortable and the tea/coffee making facilities were as good as any provided by Big names in overnight accommodation. Shower was fine, pressure and temperature both high enough. The drawbacks were that there were lots of pigeons on the roof so we thought it unwise to open the windows, the furniture was old and a bit tatty, the bathroom was in need of an update. The automatic air fresheners were a little overpowering. Overall - satisfactory for our purposes and worth the money paid for a two night stay.
“Cheap for Bag Packers in group”
The best part is the hotel is 5 mins from station. The hotel staff is very supportive. The room is not in great shape.. but for a couple of days this all right last minute option. If you can plan ahead then this is not the hotel you want.
“An experience of multicultural London can look like”
For that price, you can´t expect more. If someone of my friends are looking for a cheap place to stay, I would recommend the hotel, giving them the same remarks as mentioned above. We stayed there as a family of five persons getting a budget standard room good for us. Wegot the service we asked for, so it was ok. It was also a special experience to get to know what it can be to live and stay in a part of London with mainly Asian culture.
“Good but Flawed, a real Fawlty Towers place.”
Overall a good place to stay, it is close to the tube although is a fair way from London centre. This suited me but may not suit others. The room was clean, bed comfortable and cheery. I needed an iron for my business shirts but it had vanished some time earlier and no replacement was available. The staff were friendly and helpful, the one breakfast I had was substantial and the coffee excellent. My biggest criticism is the loud music played downstairs until 12 midnight - my room was directly over it. In the morning (a Saturday) there was a very early commotion downstairs but later I found out that renovations were scheduled so it may improve the very drab dinning.lounge/bar area for future visitors. You get what you pay for and it was far better than the Paddington hotel I stayed at the night before and cost less too. I recommend this hotel but you get what you pay for.
“nees a good clean!”
the room and onsuite we stayed in, needed a good clean and maintenance. there was hair in bath tub! service is poor, they did not seem to be interested in customers. the room was big and spacious, fact that I liked. and again it needs dusting, cleaning, etc made a bit more homely. there were a few styles of furniture, some of it didn't have the handlers. close to the underground link
“Not impressed”
The hotel was an easy bus ride away from Wembley Stadium and staff were friendly, however it is clearly a 2 star and the carpets and walls could do with a good clean. The room was ok with clean bedding, hairdryer and tea making facilities however our toilet was dirty and I had to clean it with wet wipes before we dare sit on it and the door lock was faulty and we struggled to lock it and was scared we might get locked in. However, means we were literally only there to sleep for a few hours as we couldn't get a train home to Wales after the concert, it was ok, however I wouldn't book to stay there for more than 1 night.
“I live and work in afghanistan, I am used to rough living conditions.”
I have stayed in some low key hotels, very basic. but this one was not up to par with the money that I paid. Rooms are small, the hotel needs renovation, You have to share a bathroom with the rest of the floor. It, the bathroom looked like it wanted to be clean but it just didn;t have it in him. My hotel in afghanistan would compete very well, on cleanliness and service. enough said. I tryed to cancel my reservation for the second room that my family was going to use but it was too late so the day they were to arrive i left and got us rooms at a modern hotel. for the same price.
“Cold and Dirty.”
Room very dirty and cold. Window was left wide-open by cleaner, on our return anyone could have climbed through the window and been in our room. poor hotel but cheap.
