Stayed here for 3 nights with my partner. Arrived early and was met with Kandy, who instead of helping with timelines and/or any additional costs to check in early just told us to sit and wait, despite me telling her I was pregnant and exhausted after a long flight. We finally got a room nearly 4 hours after we arrived and told the Oreos in our room were complimentary (but then they charged us for these Oreos on checkout!!)
Then my partner enquirer about a motorbike for the following day. We didn’t bother following through, but the next day at 3pm they called him to tell him the bike was there. When he explained he didn’t want it they said he has to take it and they will charge him for it. Then when he handed in the keys in the evening they tried to charge him for late hand in, even though the bike had been sat outside the whole time.
The final cherry, they tried to charge me 12 US dollars for washing ONE towel that had my fake tan on it (despite the fact that I told them it washes out on a normal 30c wash, as I do at home). 12 USD will buy around 24 towels in Vietnam, trying to charge me 12 USD for washing one towel is abhorrent. Linh the manager had zero customer services skills in dealing with this issue and insist I pay otherwise (be ready for the guilt trip) I’ll be forcing the poor staff to pay for cleaning.
There are a lot of hotels around this area that are very nice, including centre point just around the corner, would highly recommend this place is avoided
