“Very impressed.”
I will certainly use again and recommend to others.
“Cruise from Southampton”
Stayed overnight prior to cruise. Breakfast buffet very good [included in our room rate], location good, close to TGIF's and McDonalds plus there is a large shopping mall and Ikea store within walking distance. Computer with hi speed internet access in lobby 1 pound coin/30 minutes. Taxy to port about $10.

This hotel offered a basic clean and comfortable room. The restaurant served a good meal at a reasonable price. The service at the reception desk and the dining room was very efficient and friendly. It was walking distance to the cruise line dock.

“Close to the ship”
The hotel is close to the cruise terminal, train station and bus drop off in Southampton. The shopping centre is also very close. Good location for people catching a ship and wanting to stay a night or two in Southampton. Close to tourist attractions along the the sea front.
“Impressed by this chain”
Havn't sayed in a Novotel previously. Was impressed by the location as I needed to visit the port, and a large shopping centre was yards away. The hotel was spotlessley clean, staff were excellent and breakfast buffet was very good. Parking was 3 pounds which was very good considering the useful location. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
“Absolutely Outstanding!!”
We used Novotel Southampton for two days prior to sailing on the Queen Mary 2 to New York. We had a very late hotel arrival as we took the ferry from La Havre, FR to Portsmouth. We requested a quiet room. The hotel was recently, and nicely renovated. A nice shopping and good restaurant center is about two blocks away. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, in all respects, and helped to facilitate our departure to the QM2. The room and room facilities were great, bed was great, hotel restaurant excellent. They did have internet in the room, but you did have to pay a small wifi fee. There was free internet in the lobby. The hotel-booked taxis to the ship were on time. We highly recommend the hotel, and would go back in an instant.
“Very good location”
Stayed at this hotel as we were going to see a show at the Mayflower Theatre and wanted somewhere within walking distance. The shops are also within walking distance. The car park was £3.00 for 24 hrs. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom had a separate toilet. I was able to sit in the bath and watch TV at the same time.....very relaxing. The included breakfast was very nice and at weekends is served til mid-day. There is free internet in the foyer for 20 mins each time and a WII for the children. Would definitely stay there again
“Excellent Stay”
Hotel was full but very quiet. Staff were efficient and helpful. Breakfast excellent. Enjoyed my stay here very much and would definitely go back. Able to park car right outside hotel. Only negative comment is that the decor inside the room is beginning to look a little tired but room and hotel very clean.
