“Our weekend break”
We enjoyed our weekend stay in the DeVere. This hotel is impressive, both inside and out. The Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb. We will be back! Well Done
“Great hotel and a great breakfast”
Only stayed one night but it was a great place to stay after a Christmas night out in Southampton. Hotel is in a good location for the shops and bars in the city and the hotel staff are friendly and ready to help. Room was comfortable and big enough for two but the best thing was the breakfast - so many options including pastries, cereals and my favourite, eggs benedict with bacon. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Southampton.

A wonderful, relaxing place to stay. The service, food and accomadation are excellent.

Visit was a surprise for my husband's 40th birthday. What a lovely hotel! They couldn't do enough for us. Polite staff and beautiful surroundings.
“Excellent Hotel”
Everything about this hotel was excellent, we had a suite and it was pure luxury. One of the best things about the hotel was Allertons restaurant, the food was superb and we were treated like royalty! The area surrounding the hotel isn't particularly scenic but the standard of the hotel more than made up for this.

Great service. Breakfast was great. Nice room and very close to major point of interest
“Very good - would go again”
Excellent service, friendly receptionist, restaurant really good (although portion sizes were just too big!). Good room , beds comfortable. Only disappointment was quality of bathroom consumables - shampoo, shower gel and most important - the toilet roll
“Place to stay”
The De Vere looks to be the place to stay in Southampton. Both service and location were quite satisfactory. Great location for a pre or post-cruise visit.
“Good for business and pleasure”
Cannot fault the hotel. Three minute walk into the old town and only a few minutes from the Cruise Liner docks.... although you don't see them.
“Pleasant hotel”
The room was spacious and clean. I had a traditional room, so no stocked minibar, though there was a small fridge in the room. The quality of the food was good, though like most places room service prices were steep. The car parking charge is cheeky.
