“Would definitely go back”

What a beautiful hotel. It was so serene that we didn't want to go anywhere, we just wanted to enjoy the beauty of the grounds and relax. It was only about 15 minutes to the cruise terminal, which was our deciding factor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They suggested places to visit and made transportation arrangements for us. We would definitely go back and spend more time there.

Had a wonderful stay, the staff were very helpful ,easy to talk to , kind ..the hotel was just great , everything in the room was brilliant..nothing was wronge, can't say one bad thing about it ..just a great place i will probable go back next Dec for xmas shopping..

“Spa tastic”

I opted out of the expensive breakfast and headed to the pool, jacuzz and sauna instead. Much better :)

“Nice outside but too old-style for my comfort”

Overall a good hotel but I just don't like the old looking style of the room. The water is not mixed and comes from two taps...

“Failed to meet expectations”

This hotel had been recommended by others who had stayed there before. The location was perfect for where we had meeting the following morning but the rooms were disappointing for the price paid.

“a conference hotel”

everything was satisfactory, but rooms are small and heated by an electric convector heater; in need of refurbishment. It was very much geared to conferences and not a place to stay for a leisure trip.

“staff showed no flexibility or care - I would be reluctant to go back”

The hotel is well located and popular for conferences and weddings. We booked two spearate nights and asked for an early check in for our second visit. No action was taken to facilitate this, it was too mch trouble to alter their rules. Some rooms are on floor not accessilble by lift and it may cause difficulty if you are mobility challenged. The restaurant was pleasant and food of good quality The public areas busy and noisey due to weedings and corporate events.

“OK for Business Conferences (i.e not private visitors)”

This hotel is suitable for business conferences but not for private visitors. The restaurant is not inviting, and has the smell of a canteen. However, staff are polite and efficient. The whole floor plan, environment and decor requires a re-think. The stay was bearable for the special rate we paid.
