“Wonderful hospitality”
The hotel staff was very professional and the rooms were quite comfortable. An exceptional staff member (Sven) was our bartender. He's quite a professional employee with superb bartending skills. He's probably the hotel's best employee! The hotel location is quite close to the city's first-class public transportation. I'll choose the same hotel whenever I visit Hamburg, again!
“Would Use again!”
Stayed 2 nights in this hotel, was very clean and the staff on check in & at other times were always very helpful. When we got to our room (booked for 2 adults & 2 children) the spare bed/settee wasnt made up for the kids and no sign of any spare bedding. We mentioned it at reception on our way back out and they were very apologetic and said it would be sorted. When we got back to our room the bed was made for the kids and sweets/a Hamburg teddy bear were left on their pillow by way of an apology.
“convenient and very clean”
An easy walk from hamburg's "berliner tor" station, which is only one metro station away from central train station. In fact, easy enough to wealk from central train station to the hotel if weather is nice and you don't have much luggage. Room was very clean and I liked the layout of the room. Breakfast buffet looked great, but was not included with the room I booked, so I had breakfast in hamburg instead. Room was nice and quiet and I was very pleased.
“As hotels should be.”
Staff welcoming and very helpful. Room was of high standard and clean. Hotels in the uk should look and learn. Myself and a friend enjoyed several days knowing the service would always be with a smile.
“Just for the weekend”
A nice comfortable hotel to use as a base for sightseeing in the City. It is about five or six euros cab ride from the centre and once you know thw way it is maybe 10 - 15 minutes walk. A quiet district, mainly office buildings around it and there is a nightclub right next door. Facilities are good and the bar staff are very friendly. Good standards of English!
“Quality hotel indeed”
I was looking for a reasonable hotel of good quality for my weekend break. The single room was small but had facilities with high standards and very clean as I had expected. If an electric kettle with coffee set was available, it would be more convenient.
“Reasonable mid-range hotel, not too far from city centre”
Booked for a single-night stay in Hamburg. The hotel is what one would expect from a mid-range hotel, in terms of facilities. Nice welcome at reception, and helpful staff. The location is not right in the old city part of Hamburg, but it is very easy to reach via the S- or U-Bahn (1 stop from the Hauptbahnhof/Main Station). The breakfast was very good by European standards (although European hotels rarely serve any hot food at breakfast). I would stay here again.
“Nice clean hotel”
Hotel is one stop on train/metro from main station and is only a few minutes walk from the back entrance (not the front as I did and couldn't find it) Nothing wrong with the room apart from no safe and tea or coffee but would use this hotel again as it was good value.
“value for money”
the staff were pretty helpful at the desk counter. the hotel was pretty cosy but the room is very cramp. the lights in the room was not sufficient as there was only table lamp and bedside lamp were dim. other than that, the rest of the services were pretty good. good value for money.
“Good hotel but far from centre”
Good hotel, friendly staff. There is a nice pool in the basement, and on-street parking at the weekend is the cheapest option. The hotel restaurant serves good traditional German food.
