“Great hotel, central location.”
I chose this hotel because of its location. The hotel itself is expertly run and was one of the best in terms of service and style. The decor is beautiful and restful and the spa is fantastic (though I would bring my own flip-flops instead of using the hotel slippers which are for really big feet and are hard to walk in!) If you decide to stay here make the pool/whirlpool/steam room your first stop and don't do as I did and wait for my last night. Another caveat: the hotel is very close to the Alster (lake) 5-7 minute walk. This was a nice plus since there were also public restrooms and cafes -try the Literaturhaus cafe -on the Alster and it's a great place for a walk or an early morning run (The larger part of the Alster is just under 5 miles around.) There's also a gym in the hotel which looked nice. I would definitely stay here again.
“FANTASTIC HOTEL - IF I COULD GIVE IT MORE OUT OF 5, I WOULD!”
This hotel is amongst the best I have ever stayed in. Stylish and sophisticated yet friendly and welcoming there was nothing about this hotel to disappoint. Our room was immaculate and spacious (the bathroom, inclusive of wet room) was vast and well equipped. Part of the shower broke on our first evening and it was fixed immediately with no disruption or fuss. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, polite and efficient - the hotel is clearly very well and very professionally run. It is also in a perfect location - part of the stylish Levantehaus and only a minute by foot to Monckebergstrasse (for shopping and shoe heaven) and underground connections. Das Rathaus is only a short hop further down the road with the Speicherstadt and glorious Alster easily reachable on foot too. Breakfast is pricey if not part of your deal but there are plenty of cafes offering a quality and hearty breakfast nearby if eating in is not for you. The pool and spa facilities are fabulous and tranquility itself. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will most definitely look it up again myself next time I am in town. 5 out of 5 - I don't think so - more like 6 out of 5 or more!
“Exquisite Hotel”
The Park Hyatt in Hamburg is an absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff were very accommodating and courteous, the room was spacious, and the bathroom was a dream. It is located in the premier shopping district, and only two blocks from the Central Station, which makes getting around Hamburg very easy.

“All the glory of HH”
This is an exceptional hotel. good location, lovely rooms and service beyond measure. The Park Hyatt Hamburg does it's City State proud by setting such an excellent standard of service, comfort and by paying it's guests the courtesy of personal attention. I have stayed here twice and hope to return. The concierge staff are ofnparticular note. And Hamburg is a wonderful city - go beyond it's stuffy reputation and find an Hansiatic gem"! Complete with a great music scene and fine dining to match similar cities. I'll be back.

The Hamburg Park Hyatt was a wonderful experience. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay the best. I have travel extensively for business and have never experienced such professional and delightful service.

“Great location for exploring Hamburg”
The Park Hyatt Hamburg is a hotel of a certain age that has been beautifully renovated. It has top notch service. My well-appointed room was on the inner courtyard so was very quiet and restful. I slept well. The hotel is just a few hundred meters from the Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (train station), where I arrived from Berlin, so I could "walk and roll" my luggage to the hotel. The hotel is located on a lively shopping street (Monckebergstrasse), and is a short walk to the stunning old town center, the Rathaus. Key sites are all within walking distance, including the don't-miss Hamburg port and waterfront scene.
