“Fabulous hotel”
We had an apartment which was excellent as we had a 6 month old baby with us, more room & space. Cot was provided as requested. Breakfast buffet was expensive so we bought supplies from a local supermarket. Also small children weren't allowed into the hotel pool but the bath was huge so we splashed in there instead. Location was central without being noisy - only 10 mins walk from the Christmas markets that were still on. Great city & we had a great time.
“Good location”
Good value through Expedia. Close to very interseting parts of the City - walking distance to the docks and the lakes. Lovely big room
“very happy”
stayed for just 1 night on business, the staff were friendly and helpful and the bed was great. My flight was at 9pm that night and as usual I had to check out before 12. It was a shame that I hd to get changed in the toilet during the day (some hotels have a special room to allow you to freshen up) but otherwise the were very good.
“Premier comfort standards”
Very impressed and would certainly return if ever in Hamburg again. Excellent in all aspects, i.e quality accommodation, service and food. There is a particularly good breakfast buffet. The location is central and means most attractions can be reached on foot.Free umbrellas provided if it rains.
“Excellent in every way”
Stayed 5 nights in July and the room was large and very comfortable. It included a kitchenette with stove, refrigerator, kettle and beverages (unusual for continental Europe). Bathroom had a large bath with shower overhead. Very comfortable bed. Excellent service throughout hotel. Breakfasts were reasonably priced with good choice. Hotel is located near port area but convenient for trains. Nearest U-Bahn is 3 minutes' walk (Baumwall) with other stations a little further away. Equally convenient for the S1 train to the airport (about 11 stops with no change). Marley's restaurant offered a good choice of dishes at reasonable prices (for a hotel restaurant). Nearby several Spanish, Portuguese and Italian restaurants. City centre (Rathaus area) is 3 stops on train and 20 minuties' wasy walk. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
“Good place for Biz/Tourist”
Easy to access subway station near Hauptbahnhof so it was convenient for me to meet business people I could use Spa with sunbed in the morning time. You can walk around the canals and Alster Lake is not far from the hotel. I will stay again when I am back in hamburg.
“Excellent hotel”
This is a very conveniently located and comfortable hotel and at the Expedia rate extremely good value. Large very well fitted room with kitchinette. Hotel staff very helpful. Genuinely walking distance from waterfront and main tourist attractions.
“Best in Hamburg”
This is the place to stay in Hamburg.
“Amazing comfort and facilities”
This is one of the best hotels I've stayed so far. I do lot of travelling on business and my stay varies a lot from 2* to 5* etc but this hotel was selected by my colleague. I dont know about the surroundings etc., because i came in at night and left the next morning out of Hamburg but I'll just talk about the room. it was just perfect. when i entered the room, it was amazingly spacious. loved the small kitchen in the side - never seen this before in any other hotel and the decor was modern and amazingly soothing. First, they gave me a twin bed instead of a double but the person from reception came up to my room in order to change it.. very helpful and friendly staff Breakfast was slightly expensive but Okay. Given that I'm a vegetarian, there were fruits and flakes. Unfortunately, not too many veg stuff as I'd have liked - but then, that's Germany for you i guess. Pork and Ham but very less veggi stuff. The hotel also has a spa next door. I forgot to ask if it's free for hotel residents but if it is , it definitely looks cool. enjoy your stay in this hotel. i guarentee you will.
“Madison Hamburg”
This Hotel is great! Rooms are very nice and clean. Up to date with internet, TV and all the things you would want. The hotel is in a great place if you do not mind walking a little. Food is great but a little costly. I found many great places to eat close by and a lot less.
