A splendid pied-à-terre from which to explore this fine city, I was able to explore and return to "base" without any trouble - thanks to the hotel management's sound advices and the patience of the local bus drivers.
I'd certainly wouldn't hesitate in returning to this hotel, though would ask for a larger room as a single traveller. Hopefully the lift will soon be repaired, though walking off some calories is no bad thing!
Evening and lunch meals are not provided, but breakfast is generous with a variety of quality foods which kept me going past lunch-time. The coffee was particularly good: real, complemented with the correct milk (unlike many places in the UK which serve watered-down milk... I think it's called "skimmed"!).
