The room was dirty and moldy. The fridge was broken and complained several times then they switched room and the fridge was broken in the new room. I had to dispose of $8500 in medication that required to be chilled. The shower was dangerous as it has this crazy drain slop and it was slippery. Room service came and different times of the day as early as 10 and if you were not ready then they skipped you for the day. And the noise my god the noice. I am not sure if they were remodeling over night but all the banging and furniture movement over night was insane! Just as insane as them shampooing carpets at 0700 in the morning in the hallways with this super loud industrial cleaner. The restaurant has super limited selection for food and the prices were crazy expensive. Certain good you could only eat in the restaurant then if you wanted a burger then you had to eat it in the bar 2 feet away! The parking cost me 179 euros but if you stay one night you can park there for 14 days no or free if your flying out. We booked for the amenities such as the pool but no pool it was under construction. Very very disappointed in this. NOT Marriot quality by any means. They should be ashamed to have there name on this hotel.

The hotel is very close to airport so it’s a good choice if you have early flight. The room is normal, not spacious. There are no slippers and limited amenity

the location is great if you want to stay near the airport with access to city. underground parking is nice, breakfast was fair

It was okay! But fell a bit short of my expectations for a 4 star hotel Clean room and basic amenities there. But it just didn't feel 4 star. No one to help me carry my heavy bags in (not like I need it, but other hotels snatch my bags from me) Corridors seemed dark and maybe slightly eerie at night. Pillows too soft. Upon request for harder pillow it was not available Counter staff were super polite and awesome and helpful. Bathroom was also well equipped albeit small

We loved our short time at the hotel. My wife said it was one of the nicest rooms we’ve ever had as a family as it was so spacious and well equipped with all that we needed. Appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities and very comfortable beds…great quality sofa bed for our son. We had dinner in the restaurant and while it was of good quality the portions were very small considering the price. This was our only negative of our stay. The free shuttle service to the airport was great on a very wet morning. We wish that it was located somewhere that we would holiday in rather than just an overnight stay for a flight.

We asked for a 1 bedroom suite but we were given a suite that loked like a long boardroom with a bedroom at the end. It looked nothing like the pictures on your website. And we were expecting a bathtub but the bathroom had shower only. I am not sure who is responsible for the room descriptions, Expedia or the hotel, but we rely heavily on accurate pictures and descriptions, when we choose a hotel, and we often pay more money to get what we want. So to pay more yet not get what we are expecting is very frustrating

This was the best stay we ever had in any hotel in Hamburg we stayed before. We have been in our hometown more than 30 times since we left Germany.We are born in Hamburg and stayed mostly in downtown Hotels before. This Marriott at the airport was the best. Service, cleanliness, and quiet room , good bathroom, with a good small fridge and spacey seating area made it feel homey. We were surprised being at the proximity of the airport there was no noise from planes starting or landing due to excellent soundproofing. The complaints about instant coffee ---- we purchased coffee bags ( like teabags) to make our morning coffee in the room. Also to mention the excellent transit connections from this location( bus, Hochbahn, S Bahn. We will stay with Marriott Courtyard again when we come back to Hamburg.

Service and attitude of some staff was pretty bad. And nowhere to be found. Also their swimming pool closed for sometime, not mention in reservation page. Prices were very high, and in the top of this we were overcharged for a beer. The only good thing was a quiet location of the room and a room itself was decent.

Thank you so much to Brigette and Milanu who let us check in early on June 8th. My wife had a bad headache, I had a sinus cold, and we both needed a rest from holidays. The restaurant was a bit pricey with fancy menu items, but the burger was delicious.

Quiet despite being very close to the airport. Handy when you have a very early flight to catch. Only slight issue is that the airport shuttle only leaves every 30 minutes (and only has 8 seats) so you need to make sure you catch it (ours actually left 5 mins ahead of schedule - luckily we were among the 8 people that made it)
