“Great hotel with high quality design & comfort: highly recommend”
The Hotel is new and has a generous double height lobby space with a bar/lounge and restaurant at the second level. Food in the hotel restaurant was very good. It is too bad that the restaurant is not more visible from the street - it might attract more patronage. The second floor breakfast room is light filled and pleasant. Rooms in the hotel cater both to business and vacation customers. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends.

Check in and check out was easy and fast, rooms clean, we requested extra towels and were delivered inmediatelly, nice restaurant , breakfast was simple, but refreshing..we had a great experience at Arcotel.
“A fine night at Arcotel Rubin”
The staff treated us very well and made us feel welcome. The beverages, food and service were all very fine and we felt like we got very good value for our travel dollars. This was the best hotel experience we had on our week in northern europe.

Arcotel Ruben is fabulous. we loved the modern decor, the room size and appearance. Although located close to the Main Rail Station (which typically is a less desirable location) the Hotel is very close to a famous and trendy street (Lange Reihe "long row") where the breakfast at the Urlaubcafe is great value and there nice bars and restaurants (for example Turnhalle - which is an old gym. I will always stay at this hotel.
“Great boutique style hotel, colorful neighborhood”
We were invited to a party nearby, which is why we chose this location. There are several chain and other hotels around, but I wanted something cooler. The Hotel staff was very friendly, interior design all around awesome, rooms clean and beds firm and comfortable. Nice bar too. We booked w/out breakfast, so I can't say anything about that. There is a parking garage right under the hotel which is a bit challenging to negotiate if you have a larger car, but street parking is difficult, so I'd still recommend using the garage. I read some other travelers' concerns about the neighborhood, but I think it's really just colorful, not "seedy". However, if you want to be surrounded by Starbucks and soulless suburban establishments, then this is not the place for you. We had an excellent experience and would stay at the Arcotel Rubin anytime if our travels were to take us back.

“Surprising Gem”
What a pleasant surprise in Hamburg! I have heard of the hotel, but never stayed there...until this time. Confess I thought the hotel was a bit closer to the main train station, but a 5-10 minute walk is no problem. Nice to have a grocery store across the street. The Afghan restaurant in the next block was a super find...many customers and a great EUR 6.20 per person lunch and dinner buffet. Excellent!
“Best choice”
extremely comfortable hotel with reasonable and affordable price. The only inconvenience the the wirless internet - the user ID and PW have to be renewed every day during my stay. Otherwise the location and the room are great, and the reception people are very friendly.
