“good value stay”
convenient location for family visits/business outside immediate downtown Dartmouth core, good proximity to lake views, shopping, and major roads, staff friendly, front desk attentive and helpful, and quiet despite party-goers elsewhere in the hotel

Room and amenities were adequate; room very clean; staff very competent and friendly.
“Just what we were looking for.”
We wanted something close to Micmac Mall and Dartmouth Crossings in Halifax/Dartmouth and this was close to both and easy to find. Not too expensive but comfortable and with free parking. Would stay there again.
“Cheapest (price) and Comfortable”
I was looking for a hotel near by halifax downtown, I was visiting halifax for H1 stamping @ us embassy. This hotel was the cheapest i found and booked it and was very happy with tmy stay. Internet connection was good (wi-fi access) - very near to a mall (mic mac mall) and also easy access to freeway to get to airport. There is atlantis supermarket in walking distance. Overall was very happy.
“Easy acceess, close to airport and Halifax”
Rooms are spacious and clean with big TVs. A supermarket is just across the street. Continental breakfast was included and satisfactory. We chose this hotel for the price and the proximity to the airport (20 minutes). Overall a good experience.

Needed a place to stay during a conference. It was good.
“Good hotel - great location”
This is a small Comfort Inn chain hotel that appears to have been previously an independently owned hotel. Don't expect chocolates on your pillow, but it's clean, fairly comfortable (creaky desk and chair), the internet works great, in-room coffee is nice, and room is typical Comfort Inn - you aren't likely to want to just hang in the room all day, but it's a great home base for travels, which is why you're in Nova Scotia in the first place! It is a wonderful location next to Lake Banook and Sullivan's Pond; very nice walking routes through the parks, and people use it no matter the weather. It's motivating to see the rowers out practicing in the rain and mist, and the walkers and joggers doing the same thing. The Mic-Mac Mall is also nearby. Hotel is right off #111 making access to either Halifax bridge very easy - through town for MacDonald or via #111 for MacKay, so it's easy to get to Halifax but escape the hustle and bustle by staying in Dartmouth. Staff very friendly and helpful. There is a bar and restaurant on site but we did not try them. Parking not a problem despite the small lot - can park in a shopping center across the street if needed. We will absolutely stay here again.
“Quality Inn Review”
I went for the cheapest room I could get and ended up with a cooker, fridge/freezer and a big plasma TV with good picture. The staff are engaging (if engaged). The Lift was out of order whilst I was there in Aug 09. There are only two disappointing areas; mostly the breakfast service. It's completely self-serve with not the most appetizing of options. Plates are not provided, instead you get paper dishes to go with your plastic cutlery. I guess you get what you pay for though right? I'd stay again from a cost/service point of view.
“Just OK”
Last minute business trip to Halifax, ALL downtown Halifax hotels were booked, so this hotel was my last choice... But it was not all that bad. On the good side: spacious and clean room, new appliances in the room (tv, microwave, fridge), very quiet even if the hotel was full, beautiful walks around the lake just accross the road, grocery store accross the road. On the not so good side: the halls are a bit dingy and smelly, the wireless internet in the room did not work.

Not a bad place to stay. Staff were excellent.
