“superb hotel, get breakfast in the room for 30 $”

the stupp is very, very friendly. the gym, sauna, swimmingpool seams like new. Everything was great there. The airport-shuttle-bus have a stop there. It# will pick you up, return to the airport, every hour. The breakfast in the room for 30 Dollar per room more, was fresh and lovely served. The breakfast-ladys are also very friendly. The hotel is the last step of the downtown-link. You can get to the habourfront without staying autside. This was great, when you visited halifax in winter.

“Mostly a very enjoyable stay.”

We really enjoyed our stay at The Prince George. Friendly, helpful staff, Beautiful rooms, great location, good breakfast, good pool and hot tub and loved the second floor gardens. Only two things which detracted from the enjoyment of our stay: 1. The sauna was not working and although this was probably a temporary situation, one of the reasons I booked at the Prince George was because it advertised a sauna and it's something I really enjoy. 2. The hotel is near a very popular dance club in Halifax and I could hear the drums from the sound system in our room. I eventually stuffed my ears with tissue and was able to sleep but for a sensitive, light sleeper this could be a problem.

“Great getaway location”

Once again the Prince George surpassed our expectations in service and amenities. The staff are professional and courteous and the hotel is immaculate. The beds are comfortable, clean and well appointed, lots of towels and no shortage of toiletries. This is my favorite Halifax hotel and I have stayed in most of them so I know the other facilities available and would always choose the George. They are perfectly located downtown and easy walking distance to restraints and entertainment.

“I enjoyed my stay”

The hotel staff were amazing, friendly and extremely helpful especially the concierge. The hotel is beautiful, and is close to everything I needed ie convention centre, mall, harbour etc. I enjoyed my room, which was very modern with a lovely spacious shower. I stayed there for 4 nights, and I wish I could have stayed longer. I would definitely stay here again.

“Fabulous hotel!”

We did not know what to expect when we booked this hotel, but were pleasantly surprised by all aspects of our stay there. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, the room was clean, spacious and quiet. We loved the view we had from our room, it overlooked Halifax harbour. Parking was easily accessed and stalls available at all times of the day. We left the charger to our cell phone at home and the staff provided us one at no charge. I really appreciated having a recycling box in the room. Overall a great place to stay when visiting Halifax! Restaurants, pubs, shops as well as the harbor front, all within walking distance of the hotel. Great nightlife accessible, without worrying about taking taxis.
