“Great place to stay close to Haarlem”

Convinient on bus route 300, 10 minutes from the city center. Haarlem is a great alternative to Amsterdam, yet very close by.

“Great value”

I searched for a hotel in Amsterdam for New Year's Eve but either found 3 day minimum reservation requirements or outlandish prices. I couldn't believe the value of Van der Valk Hotel which was just a 15 minute train ride from Central Amsterdam. Luxurious accomodations, incredible buffet breakfast and very helpful front desk personnel. I would definitely go back!

hôtel trop excentrer d'Amsterdam, bus pas trop loin pour ce rendre au centre quand même à plus de 30 mn du centre, accueil au restaurant inexistant information très difficile a obtenir, bref l'ensemble peu satisfaisant !

“Know what you are in for.”

The Hotel is labeled "Harlem Hotel," has a balcony not private but shared with the entire floor, with no furniture. Strange placement of toilet. Hotel contract different that normal Expedia arrangement - you will be charged by the hotel - not by Expedia.

“It was once upon a time four star but now no way!”

Hotel, parking, location by car all convenient. Romms are very very old. I can say dirty as well. Clean sheets but I can not tell the same for bad covers. Broken shower. For what you pay you get but do not expect four star quality at all.
