“great hotel in harlem”
Lovely place in the heart of harlem. neat huge rooms with all convenience. close to all tourist destinations and good shopping and eating places.
“Nice Alternative to Amsterdam”
Hotel quite new, compared to many old hotels in Amsterdam. Staff friendly and very helpful. Rooms are OK size and quiet for a busy tourist area. Need to catch bus or taxi from station or airport with luggage. Breakfast looked pretty average for the price, better to find a cafe nearby. Free WiFi was great.

si vous espériez comme nous, vous retrouver en plein centre de Amsterdam, alors là dommage!!!Sinon, Harlem est une petite ville très agrèable et paisible qui vaut le détour et qui se situe à seulement 15minutes en train du centre d'Amsterdam (19 KMS à l'ouest d'Amsterdam).Donc, un peu déçus au départ mais finalement hormis cette déconvenue, nous avons passé un bon séjour et trouvé un bon restaurant sur Harlem " Wilma et Albert". De plus, la ville est vraiment bien déservie car il y a des trains toutes les 10mn et un bus pour l'aéroport également toutes les 10mn

“Exactly what we needed for for New Years eve!”
We visited the hotel on New Years eve and we were not disappointed. We were right in the middle of the activities with fire works display not to far from the hotel. The hotel is in the city center with a wide choice of pubs and restaurants only a few minutes walk.
“Hotel très bien situédans Harleem”
Très bon hotel. La seulle difficulté importante est que l'hotel n'a pas de parking et que le parking public qui est attenant à l'hotel coute 35 euro par jour si la voiture reste en permananence, et même plus si la voiture est utilisée dans la journée.
“Good value for the price”
This was a great option for my husband and I when we went to Amsterdam. We were initially disappointed because we misunderstood, but in the end we very happy that it was in Haarlem instead of Amsterdam. It was only about a 10 minute train ride and it was kind of nice to get away from the craziness in order to be able to sleep.
“Best Hotel yet”
It was our good fortune to choose Haarlem and the Amrath Hotel rather than stay in Amsterdam which on our one visit was busy and noisy. The circular staircase and beautiful stained glass ceiling was spectacular. As with other reviewers the breakfasts in the Hotel were expensive but there were lots of eating places around Haarlem to choose from. We were delighted with our stay and plan to return.
“Home Away From Home!”
Excellent hotel. Friendly staff and beautiful hotel/building. Central location, plenty of shops and food. If your interested in Cafes, visit High Times just around the corner! P.s. Breakfest at the hotel is over priced!
“les 4 étoiles les valent !”
c'est un Hôtel moderne, le personnel est accueillant et bilingue, les chambres sont propres et bien équipées, le lit est géant ;-) il est situé au coeur de la ville, à 5 minutes de la gare. Le quartier d'Harlem est d'autant + agréable car très calme, comparé à Amsterdam. Seul petit bémol le pt déjeuner est assez cher ! mais il y a tout ce qu'il faut à proximité.
