“A Comfort Inn Convert!”

I was not eager to stay in "another one of these chains" that seem to dominate the landscape, and I was very pleasantly surprised by it. I like a firm mattress, and my bed was perfect. The room was very clean, and the staff was uniformly courteous. Though I didn't try the waffles, I'm told they are wonderful. My only complaint was a loud group in the room next door, but when I asked them to quiet down, they did so immediately.

“Perfect for a night or two”

The hotel is very clean, the person at the desk was very friendly and helpful when I realized I had forgotten my toothpaste! The general condition of the hotel is excellent, you don't see wall paper hanging, everything is painted and clean. There is one thing that I loved about this little hotel: the walls are thick. You won't hear anybody from the other rooms, won't hear the radio, TVs etc. That was very good, considering that the hotel was packed and there were many kids around. Also, the breakfast was nice, abundant and with many choices. One thing that I liked and may seems silly, was the smell. It wasn't heavy with chemical products, nor smelling dirt nor mold. Given my migraines, it was a relieve when I entered and there wasn't that characteristic fruity smell. I really appreciate that!! I knew that I wasn't going to spend my days in a hotel enjoying the pool, lobby, and other amenities. I needed a place to stay at night while visiting friend in the area. What is advertised is what the client gets, in a clean and friendly context.

“Great place if you're in the middle of CT!”

The hotel was great! It was convenient - the rooms were clean - the staff friendly - and the breakfast was well stocked and not bad. Microwave and fridge in every room - and free computer/printer to use onthe main floor. The only "problem" was the a loud wedding party that arrived back at the hotel at 1am. When people are in the halls and the doors are slamming, you hear EVEYTHING.

“A pleasant surpise”

We stayed at The Comfort Inn Guilford for business purposes and we were very pleased. For an inexpensive chain hotel it was very personable, clean, and they had a very good free breakfast in the morning.I highly recommend this hotel for business or for a quick getaway since the surrounding area is so pretty.

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was served very pleasingly and much attention paid to keeping the food plentiful at correct temperature. Very nice, showed much attention to detail. Thank you.

“Small bed”

We were given a room with one double bed and found it quite small. The breakfast was very well done and tasty.
