“Simple but perfect”
I really enjoyed staying here. The staff was very friendly, the views on the roof were amazing, and the room was no more and no less than exactly what we needed. Plus the location is perfect. On several occassions we got our dinner to go and ate it up on the rooftop, watching the sun set. It was wonderful. It's true that there's a loud bar across the street, but it wasn't loud enough to disturb my sleep (and I'm a light sleeper!). One morning I needed to wake up at 3:30 am to catch a bus to Copan and, since I didn't have an alarm clock, the night watchman offered to knock on my door to wake us up. And he actually did! This is a sweet, simple hotel and I would definitely stay here again.
“I would stay again”
Quaint Posada style hotel. Full kitchen available for your own use, great location to main points of interest. The staff were very friendly. Good deal.
“Antigua”
the hotel was small but beautiful and comfortable room. Antigua is a beautiful place to visit.
“Nice clean room, great area, cockerel crows :(”
Very nice room with a shared patio area outside our room. Comfy beds, nice bathroom with a decent shower and cable TV. Nice rooftop patio as well with great views. The cost is a little on the pricey side and I think a little over priced. Also for those who like a lie in dont count on it as a cockerel is usually crowing from not far away early in the morning! The owner helped us out and gave us some advice on the surrounding area and the town of Antigua itself and most of the staff also spoke good English.
“Disappointing Stay”
The room was smaller than it appeared in the pictures. I had trouble sleeping at night as there is a bar next door with live music. However, it is in a nice location with a great view from the balcony. I cancelled my second night and instead went to Casa Florencia, which was slightly cheaper but superior in room quality. They also have free internet. I would strongly recommend Casa Florencia over Casa Rustica.
“Nice Location to party but too loud for family with kids”
Staff is really nice and accomondating. The rooftop has a beautiful view of the antigua. Hotel is located at nice location to go to clubs but too loud for family with kids. Paking is a pain because this hotel is centrally located.
