The hotel is very old. It needs to be renovated. But the staff were excellent. The location is great.

Excellent location. Right next to Metro and lots of restaurants. The only negatives are: 1. They have no heating so when it gets cold then you can't change the temperature. Just need to take more blankets that is uncomfortable. 2. As in many hotels in China the mattresses are hard (some people may like that). But on the whole its well worth the money they charge. Staff is nice but don't expect them to be too friendly or accommodating. They are rather automated in their approach...

good value hotel
This hotel is not up to the North American standard 3 stars hotel but does have a lot of good to offer I will definitly rebook and happy to stary there again.
This hotel is very dated and does need some TLC, the carpet do need to be replaced. However, housekeep crew does keep the room and bath room clean so is not a conern for me to stay an enjoyable 8 eights.
This location is a BIG plus, metro and bus is right by the front door and taxi is readly available. It worth the extra to have a riverview room, is beautiful to see the skyline of GZ when the lights are turn on in the evening.
Thumbs up hotel for the price and location.

Some counter clerk service is no good with bad face to pessenger and some is very nice. Those clerks are need to be changed.
The air comes from underground effects the environment and make passengers fill bad.
The shower tub too old and need to be exchanged.

Pillow have a Little smell😌, there is no one who carry my luggage to room in welcome time.. a lady with too many bags.. In room, smoking smell got , that makes me sad as i hate smoking . Location is nice as it is near wholesale markets, near to restaurants, i have paid ‘nearly $110 per night but room is not worth it....

Next to the metro,line 2 and line 6 , very convenient for travel. Within walking distance to Beijing pedestrian street . Near the city sightseeing hop on and off bus. Walk out of hotel and there are eateries in the right and left of the hotel. I spite of the construction around the hotel and the hotel is old, the location makes it a place ok for staying. Opposite the Canton landmark hotel has a good massage at 7th floor

I like that it is very near the Haizhu Square Metro. However, if u have heavy luggage, will be difficult to carry up the stairs connecting from Metro to the hotel. Renovations ongoing, which makes getting out a bit inconvenient. Hotel is quite comfortable, value for money! Food easily accessible.

Just besides the metro but a renovation is overdue
Cigarette smell all over the place. Property needs a massive renovation.
Hotel need upgrading. Alleyway smells mushy as carpet needs cleaning.room is big n bed comfortable. Nearby subway station n food outlets around. Staff service cold.
The location is good but the furniture and furnishings are old, need to refurbish. We stayed for 5 days 4 nights and was rudely awakened by the construction noise in front of our room, told the reception that they should at least give us a heads up regarding the issue, she just apologized and blamed the contractor. This would be the first and the last time we would stay this hotel.

the location is quite strategic coz subway station is just next to hotel. Took about 5-10 minutes walk to Beijing Lu. But the room condition is quite outdated.
