“Excellent hotel”
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Conde. Any issues were immediately resolved, except for the jacuzzi. Unfortunately, it was broken. However, we understand that in Playa Panama, Costa Rica, it may not be possible to get things fixed overnight and did not affect how our opinion of the quality and service we received at Casa Conde.
“Woud like to return”
This is a very nice typical Costa Rican Hotel and it is only a five minute walk to the beach. They have a very nice breakfast which is included. The swimming pool is really nice and the grounds are well maintained. The people at the hotel are very nice and friendly. Also, the restaurant personel are very nice and friendly. I felt like I was at home.
“Excellent secluded location”
We really enjoyed the secluded location. The beach, pool, rooms and staff were excellent. There was a bit of a language barrier between us and some of the staff but not anything that was a problem. The black sand beach was almost deserted most of the time. The restaurant and bar were also excellent.
“Good place for an overnite”
Arrived in Liberia, Costa Rica late, picked up our car with GPS and went to the hotel. Upgraded us to a suite. Nice place, very quiet. Great breakfast the next morning and the beach was nice, a little dirty, but that is the tide. Would stay again on our next trip to CR.
“Outstanding service!”
The staff is so warm and friendly. It's a wonderful thing right there in the mist of paradise. Can't wait to go back!
“Quaint, well maintained resort”
Casa Conde is well maintained compound offering nice clean rooms. The resort is a place to kick back and relax, by the large pool with waterfalls or by the beach. Highly recommend eating at the restaurant (ate there several nights and the food were fantastic).The taupe beach is not crowded and is about 2km wide with calm waters for swimming and fishing (fish literally jump out the water around sunset). Casa Conde is situated beside the local campground and it is a treat to see local families enjoy the beach - a sign that the beach is safe and clean. Very nice people and what most North American families should model after.
“Very enjoyable stay”
My husband and I just returned from a wonderful seven night stay at the Casa Conde Del Mar Papagayo. The accomodations and grounds are wonderful and the natural setting (monkeys and all) is gorgeous and extremely relaxing. If you enjoy a quiet, peaceful and naturally beautiful place , you will love it. It is not the place for wild and crazy party animals.
“Casa Conde del Mar is top notch!”
Upon arriving at the lush grounds of Casa Conde del Mar, we were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff. They were very attentive to our needs and greeted us with fresh, cold, mango cocktail. We made it there a little early (1:45pm) and check-in was scheduled for 2 pm. I was a little disappointed in the fact that we arrived with our 2 children and they could not get us to our room even one minute before 2 pm but what can you do? After 2pm, we were shown to our room with bag help from a very pleasant young man with a cart. The room was larger than it first appeared in the pictures and needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised. Our first meal was dinner at the only restaurant in the hotel but once again, it far surpassed any expectations we had before arriving. They had a decent variety of fish, chicken and steak. The only bad meal that we had the entire time we were there was the $40 lobster. I recommend avoiding that but everything else on the menu was delicious. The breakfast the next morning was fresh and they had omelets to order which was nice. The beach behind the hotel was plenty large, water was exceptionally calm and the convenience of the location could no be beat. It was a black sand beach so it was a little hot if you were not there early enough. The pool was a tropical paradise. They had a large kids pool that allowed us to bring our 17 month old daughter in for her first dip. In summary, A+++ facility and we will return as soon as possible!!
“Paradise”
We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. The hotel grounds were beautiful, our room comfortable, and the entire staff was so friendly and ready to help. I would love to go back today!!
“Great time!”
We had a great time. The staff was very friendly and their recommendations for tours were great. Would love to go back. Service in the restaurant was wonderful although the menu was limited.
