“Good, basic hotel”

Comfortable, kitchenette was very handy, breakfast options were better than expected. Not fancy, but good basic room. The pool was a little chilly, but the kids stll enjoyed it.

“Small town, Small time”

This is a difficult area in which to get a hotel. The Pomeroy is an OK chain located in northern Alberta. I drove past the one in Grande Prairie and it was very similar on the outside. They are large and new, but inside they are pretty plain. The suite room idea is good for people who have to stay for days, like workers in the mines, which is what is happening in Grimshaw.
