“Thoroughly enjoyed it”

Nice location. Facilities were good, some upgrades needed. Food was great and the open bars all day.

“Great hotel one bad staff”

Hotel services and food was very good. One staff in particular treated me as if I was a second class citizen. At first, I was really angry at her attitude, but two day later I decided to not let her attitude spoiled my vacation.

“Quite Nice”

This was not what i expected at all. I have a few concerns. On arrival i was asked for a booking number i did not know i needed to check in to the hotel, and there was a scheduled water lock off each day. Other than that the food was good, the room was clean and the service was for the most part very good. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers.

“Nice place to stay”

We enjoyed our stay at the Rex. The staff was very responsive to our needs. The breakfast at the Cinnamon hotel resturant was the absoute best! The Timmaron Lounge was refreshing with live music. We enjoyed the variety of musicians and bands which were very nice. Bar staff were very friendly. Lunch at Spicers was very nice indeed. The beach was georgeous close by and private. Excercise facility on premises was acceptable. This is a nice spot for family and an or quiet relaxation. The landscaping was exquisite with waterfalls and a rainforest. We enjoyed our stay at the Rex. Close to the airport and taxi's are readily available to take you wherever you want to go. I would recommend and would stay there again.

“Quiet and relaxing”

I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a bit of peace and quiet, away from town. Lovely location, good food and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

“Relaxing”

The Rex Resort is a place for family. Its very quiet and relaxing. The only thing I did not like about the resort is the fact I have to tell the cleaner to clean my room.

“Good All Rounder”

Very good value. The watersports centre is great and offers diving - excellent service. Rooms a bit dated with hard bed but very clean and extensive hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Watch the herons fish with bread in the lake. We were room only - food is pricey but drinks are very reasonable. AI is good value .Hotel Manager and staff very good. We went into town for the parade of the masquerade bands on the last day of Carnival in mid August. Amazing.

“I will be going back!!”

My stay was enjoyable. The food especially was great, such variety of local dishes, and to top that off it was all prepared with what I call the Grenadian experience (all local staff). I found the staff to be cordial, knowledgeable and very helpful. I will recommend the Grenada Rex experience to anyone. Reg T.

“Totally tropical Grenada”

I spent a week at the hotel at the end of October with my wife and booked the all-inclusive option. All meals were buffet style and on the whole the food was good. We stayed in a beachfront room, which was literally right on a beautiful white sandy beach with palm trees and clear blue sea. The week we were there was extremely hot and humid and although our room was air conditioned (the air conditioning unit was rather noisy), other public rooms in the hotel were not air conditioned (dining room, lounge, reception area etc) and at times the heat was rather oppressive. The hotel offered excellent snorkelling and other non-motorised sports and there is a tour operator situated in the hotel who will organise many different trips around the island and off the island. We booked a full day tour of the island with our own guide/driver. He was extremely knowledgeable and took us to see the places we wanted to see. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful and very welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Grenada.
