“Wonderful Vacation Spot”
We spent a week at the resort during the off season (at a great room rate) and practically had the place to ourselves. The room was pretty standard with a nice view of the gardens and comfortable beds and air conditioning, though the bathroom was a bit dated. The beach is beautiful and well maintained with shade trees available to get out of the sun. The swimming pools with waterfalls were nice as well and the swim up bar a bonus. We only ate one breakfast and the buffet was fair - the made to order omelet, bacon and fresh fruit were very good but the oatmeal not so much. Lunch at the Oasis Grill was good - never had dinner at the hotel as meals were not included and there are several wonderful restaurants in the area. (There is a grocery store across the street from the resort where we picked up snacks, drinks and lunch goodies). The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the entire resort is kept impeccably clean. All staff and desk personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. Not sure what it is like in season when there are more guests but we had a wonderful time, great weather and took several tours of the island with a guide arranged through the hotel. Overall a very positive and enjoyable experience.

“Best Resort in Grenada!”
We loved staying at the Grenada Grand Beach Resort. The property is quite large, but easy to manage, and very beautiful. It's entire length lies along Grand Anse Beach, "the most beautiful beach in the world" according to some travelers we spoke with. The resort also has two pools - a diving and lap pool and an enormous "Fantasy Pool" surrounded by gardens and containing a swim up bar. We ate dinner at some other resorts, and they were nice, but none had the pool facilities of the Grenada Grand. We ate breakfast each day in the hotel restaurant for convenience. The food was very good, but the menu got tiring after a few days. It was great when they put up a breakfast buffet which offered more variety. They had the buffet two of the eight days we were there. The resort is conveniently located across the street from a supermarket and a bank with an ATM, and there is a bus stop right at the entrance as well. With the exception of a couple of grumpy folks, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. They showed genuine interest in what we had planned for each day, and were more than willing to offer suggestions on things. They were knowledgeable about the island and were able to answer all of our questions. Our beach-front room was large, clean, and comfortable. It was a quick walk to the lobby, bars, pools, and restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful time here, and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying on Grenada.
“Look forward to returning to the Grenada Grand...”
Professional, friendly and accomodating staff. Convient location...mini-mall and transportation are easily accessable. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel and room. Beach was simply beautiful and there were so few people(in May) that it felt as though it was a private beach. The people of Grenada that we came in contact with were helpful and seem to be very proud of their island. As seniors, we always felt safe which is not always the case on other islands. We look forward to returning to Grenada and staying at the Grenada Grand Beach Resort.
“Great Choice & It was my Birthday!”
This hotel is located in a perfect place, easy bus access or car rental. Grocery store & emergency shops & food court. BUT I prefer local food! So I just walked up to the next block & found Local Food. Hotel renovations done were worth it, next a little work on the bathrooms would be good, but I was satisfied & I will return. Hotel Security is very visable but the island is safe, nice to see you are being looked after, I was traveling solo! Perfect beach, trees to shade you & beach chairs available.
“Great Location !”
This hotel is situated on one the best beaches in the Caribbean! Right across the street is a shopping center with a grocery store, pizza and ice-cream shop, pharmacy and banks and other shops. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel that takes you to down town to shop or to make connections to other buses. The grounds are expansive and well kept and great for kids to run around. The rooms are adequate and comfortable and most have a full or partial ocean view or mountain view. The staff is friendly and responsive to needs and the general atmosphere is quite relaxing. We stay here twice a year or more with our small children, and, it is our home away from home when in Grenada! Unless you get a luxury suite, there is no coffee pot in the regular rooms---this is our only complaint. All rooms should have a coffee/tea pot! We usually eat out and try local restaurants so we cannot attest to the food, except for breakfast. The breakfast buffet is lovely--and the ocean view while dining is mesmerizing! There is a lovely pool and jacuzzi--but while in the Caribbean, we only swim and dip in the beautiful Caribbean sea--- just yards away from our room!
“Bargain”
This hotel is a great bargain. It is located on one of the best beaces in the Carribean, has 2 pools, 3 bars, gym, a good restaurant and has easy access to public transportation. We have stayed there many times and each time the hotel has improved it's amenities and service. While the rooms are a bit dated, the beds and linens are comfortable.
“Best Resort in Grenada”
This is by far the best hotel in Grenada.... Wonderful and memorable experience, Whatever else you may hear is a total lie... We stayed there on our honeymoon, lots of nice eating places eg. Le Chatteau, Coconut beach Restaurant just a nice walk away on Grand Anse beach,Ricks Cafe for pizza really nice... Make sure and go to Insight Tours for everything to do with experiencing Grenada...... Ask for Danny great and Knowledgeable guide..... THe hotel staff was really friendly, welcoming and helpful the people in grenada on a whole are the best.... Hi from Daryl and Verlisha Stayed from 13 Feb 2012 - 17 Feb 2012...
“fantastic holiday”
excellent. drinks on arrival, great after a long journey. very relaxing calming recepetion area and reception staff. taken to our beautiful rooms, very clean and spacious. all bar and restaurant staff exceptional. beautifully cleaned and maintanted throughout. all staff very polite and helpful. such a wonderful relaxing hotel and island. gardens so colourful and neat. food excellent. fantastic location next to beautiful clean beach. dream holiday, would recomend any one to go to grenada and this hotel without any hesitation.

Excellent hotel. Everything you would want and expect from a hotel. Great swimming pools, bars and dining room. The Beach is fantastic and is where this hotel achieves its high rating. I have already been back and would not hesitate to go again.
