“lovely hotel, nice interiors”
this hotel is an ideal location for a trip to Glasgsow, and is clean and staff were pleasant and helpfull
“Oasis in the metropolis”
The Radisson group is pretty reliable and this was a comfortable outpost for me during my trip to Scotland. Service was prompt and discreet. My only gripe was that my 'king' bed was in fact two singles pushed together. Otherwise, the hotel and its location met my needs. I was delighted to walk my bags over to Central Station in good time for my train the following day without having to call a cab.
“Good all round”
Nice hotel,efficient service, central location.
“Great Hotel!”
We were on a long relaxing weekend break and the hotel was perfect for our needs. The staff were friendly, the hotel room was clean and spacious and the price was very good.
“Glasgow's only five-star hotel”
The hotel lived up to its 5-star rating. Modern but not characterless architecture, spacious rooms and corridors. Glasgow has needed a hotel like this for a long time. It was surprisingly quiet, although it is located in the centre of the city, diagonally opposite Central Railway Station. Only quibble was that the king-size bed was made up of two queen-size beds, and the ridge between them was uncomfortable if you rolled over onto it.
“Outstanding Comfort Levels”
This was our second visit to this wonderful hotel, and I'm already looking forward to our next stay. This hotel has the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! All aspects of the service, from reception to room service were first rate. Can not recommend highly enough.
“Quality and peace”
Radisson SAS Glasgow is excellently located just next to the central railway station. Hotel has high standards of quality, and it has been decorated in a calm scandinavian style, with a hint of orient. Despite its central location, the hotel is a peaceful place to stay for the business traveler. Complimentary high-speed Internet worked well, both wired and wireless, not just one of the wireless networks that only really work in lobby areas. I enjoyed my stay.
“Best hotel in Glasgow”
The hotel is modern with excellent facilities and the staff are second to none in the service department with a real can do attitude.
“Contemporary, clean, highly recommended”
Really impressed with the hotel. The room was great, very clean and the room amenities were much better than most hotels. Good location and the service was excellent. I'm one of the most picky people about hotels after staying in hundreds for business - great value for money!
“Gorgeous, modern hotel in Glasgow”
We had two rooms at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow. The location can't be beat - across the street from one of the major train stations (Central) and 0.5 miles from the other (Queen St). The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms typical by US and HUGE by European standards with all the amenities to suit a US traveler. It is on two main streets with a host of local and ethnic eateries and upscale and more modest shopping. Could NOT have asked for more.
