“Excellent value for money hotel.”
We chose Premier Inn based on our experience with the brand in Bangalore, India. For the quality of room and service, it is an excellent value for money hotel. The room was functional, clean and comfortable. We were on the 11th floor and the view was amazing. The staff was very helpful, right from check-in to check-out. We booked two taxis through the hotel and both came on the dot. Most importantly, the location is awesome. It is practically on top of the Charing Cross station. It is one station away from Queen Street. Breakfast is a bit expensive though - GBP 7.99 for the cooked spread. Also, on the second day of our stay, we did not get a place in the restaurant as there was a big group dining there. We had to sit in the bar and the only table available was next to the men's toilet. Overall, a very good value for money hotel.
“Ideal location for sightseeing, restaurants & pubs”
Great location for visiting both the City Centre & West End. Ideally located off Bath Street and Sauchiehall Street where there are lots of options for restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs. 15-20 minute walk to George Square and shopping along Buchanan Street. Convenient stops for 747 Airport bus right by the hotel, as well as hop on, hop off sightseeing bus. Hotel room was clean, and quite large for European standards. Nothing fancy, but perfectly adequate for our needs- nice linens, lots of towels, and good pillows. Bathroom was dated but clean. I recommend you bring a bar of soap and shampoo since the soap provided are in wall dispensers/not that good. Flat screen TV with lots of channels, no refrigerator but above-average hotel hairdryer. Did not have the breakfast- at £7.99 per person there are cheaper and better options at nearby bakeries, pubs, and cafes. Wifi is £5 per day for unlimited access but you can also connect for free for 30 minutes every 24 hours. Lots of pubs/bars with free wifi around the hotel as well.
“Pleasant stay and very comfortable.”
This hotel was clean friendly and in a convenient location. We stayed over on Saturday night and for the hotel being fully booked we didn't hear any noise at all. The double room was a bit quaint however fine for an overnight stay would recommend to antone. The staff were lovely.
“Bring your own Toiletries”
First off, we were very disappointed that the smoking room we booked was unavailable as all the Premier Inns are non-smoking! News to Expedia, the hotel took a copy of our booking so they could contact Expedia to correct this problem. Cold comfort to us ... going down 11 floors and outside to smoke! The hotel staff was very courteous and the room was clean and what we expected. I did find it odd that there were only towels , no face towels , in the room and that instead of toiletries there was a dispenser of Body wash/shampoo in the shower! Glad we brought our own. The location was great and a short walk to everything!
“All good”
I've not stayed at a Premier Inn before, preferring small independants if possible but this lived up to it's reputation. It's central, clean and has the essentials if the room was on the smaller side. Got what I paid for.
“Good location for nightlife”
Ideal for a central base if only for short stay
“Scruffy location, usual Premier Inn standard”
Stayed 3 nights in a family room with my 11 and 13 year old daughters. Room adequate but small for 3 of us...roll out beds for girls far too small for them ...no bigger rooms with 2 double beds available. Would be ok with younger kids. We were on the 9th floor facing the front of the hotel which was quiet but one side faces onto the dual carriageway which is noisy. Breakfast good and kids ate free. Close to Sauchiehall St, Kings Theatre and Kelvingrove Museum. Cheap and cheerful.
“Decent hotel”
This hotel was clean and comfortable without being spectacular. The room was basic but perfectly adequate and the food in the restaurant was very good. The staff were polite and attentive.Couldn't fault it really.
“my review”
stayed here loads of time great location nice staff good rooms recently stayed for NYE and couldnt have asked for a bettre hotel
“Satisfactory stay and helpful staff.”
The room was clean and bed comfortable. Other than luke warm showers and no face cloths, everything was great.
