Dining
Grand Central restaurant offers an excellent menu featuring local and seasonal dishes. Located on Hope Street the newly opened Deli offers a quick or light meal before heading off to the city or whilst waiting for the train with the great atmosphere of a continental cafe. Tempus restaurant offers an excellent range of food with flexibility from a pizza from the superb pizza oven to great Scottish fish and steaks.Champagne Central on the entresol level lives up to its name, not only offering a superb range of champagnes but also a very innovative cocktail list along with premium beers and spirits.A stunning room with marble floors, marble pillars and the most magnificent gold leaf dome lit by an extravaganza of light from the huge crystal chandelier. This is the most exciting place to be in Glasgow, the atmosphere is buzzing, the biggest danger is that whilst sipping your glass of champagne you may well see your train depart as the bar has a really interesting place to people watch over the train concourse.

“Great Stay”
Great stay... Great Location... Parking was hard to find at first but hotel was helpful.
“HAPPY HOTEL EXPERIENCE”
Hotel staff were very helpful and gave excellent advice even to advising the kitchen staff staff regarding my wife's special dietary needs, We felt well looked after in this hotel
“Great Hotel”
Very friendly staff and an amazing location! I would recommend to others.
“Better second time around.”
If arriving by train into Central station there is no need to cart luggage very far - you have arrived. Excellent location to discover Glasgow. Breakfast is on the right side of average. Did not eat Dinner/Supper there as there are plenty of excellent establishments close by: - Recommend the Grill on the Corner. Staff were very helpful this time around. - maybe previous comments were taken on board?! For convenience, quality of furnishings, and price I will stay again.
“Winter 2 night stay”
stayed here for 2 nights earle feb 2012 for my birthday. concierge was fantastic - really accommodating, no probs to leave our bags there early as we got to the hotel at 12.30, check in was 3. didn't use the restaurant so unable to comment, the room was spotless, hotel fantastic - amazing chandelier in the foyer, huge hotel, corridors endless, a lovely building. Just one minor issue, doors to hotel heavy and a bit of a heave ho to get our many cases through the doors into the hotel reception. Great location in central Glasgow, within walking distance of everything. Recommended
“grand central”
Fantastic location and a great room for my son and I to explore Glasgow for a weekend. Breakfast was disappointing, no cocopops for kids!
“GRAND CENTRAL”
FRIENDLY RECEPTION STAFF, LOVELY HOTEL. DINING STAFF REALLY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THE CONSIERGE WENT OUT WAY TO HELP US WITH PLACES TO VISIT. GREAT STAY.
“Excellent hotel”
The hotel was excellent in every way. Friendly, clean and the location is excellent. The only problem was with expedia not the hotel - we booked a twin bedded room and it confirmed twin bedded room on the confirmation but when we arrivied it was a double bedded room - we asked to be moved but the hotel was fully booked. We were moved into a twin room for the second night. When we complained we were told the fault was with expedia and it often happens with their bookings.
“Very comfortable and friendly staff”
99% of the staff were most accommodating and friendly. We had over 80 people staying there for our sons wedding. We would most certainly return to spend more time in Glasgow.
“going back next year for our fourth visit”
would not consider staying anywhere else.
