Beautiful room we had. Modern, clean and comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hot tub over looked the River Clyde and Dumbarton Castle which was pretty amazing.

My wife and I were in room 43 and because of Air Conditioning Units outside our bedroom window we did not sleep due to the noise of them. The room wasn’t cheap and this spoilt our stay.

Hotel is amazing, well designed, SPA service is great, food is tasty and nice. Great walking area, picturesque place and great views from the room. All services are at the highest level.

Beautiful hotel from the outside, the restaurant was brilliant and staff were faultless. The only negatives I would have would be that the outdoor jacuzzi pool was closed the day we arrived, we were not made aware of this until we were in the spa and that was really the reason why we went there so was quite disappointing. Regarding the room it was spacious however it was roasting and I would say a bit of updating would be great, the finishings with things such as rust and the shower lining being black were just things that I really don’t appreciate when staying away. The spa itself probably needs an update too as it’s a bit dated and doesn’t give a premium service, despite people having slippers some people came in with shoes so the floor wasn’t great and just wasn’t up to standard. Overall the food and staff were great but the facilities were a bit of a let down as well as the room. I wouldn’t let that put you off but it’s not a premium which I would have hoped for when staying away.

The rooms are fitted to an excellent standard, including not one but two comfy chairs! The coffee machine had no operation instructions, making it difficult to enjoy a cup of coffee

Was there for my 50th was ther was 4 hor did not get into th hottub or swimming pool no seats to sit on ther was lots of kids under age all in a out th hottub so niver got into nothing was th same th nex morning told th manger niver got nothing off him to it was a full joke

Nice hotel but a bit rough around the edges, room could do with a refresh. Carpets were stained and wallpaper peeling. 'Hot' breafast was cold despite being in warm dishes. Wasnt expecting to be charged £50 on arrival incase i wanted room service, surely if i wanted to order something you could just bring a card reader to the room? No phone signal and wifi was terrible.

No signal or wifi connection
Why have a hotel with no phone signal or Wi-Fi available!? Had to change rooms as couldn’t even make a phone call! Ordered steak for room service and half was pure fat and couldn’t eat. Receptionist said would only be charged once for using room service for duration of stay but when checked out on bill it was on twice so be aware!

Really nice hotel not far from central Glasgow. Only comment would be the restaurant although having stunning views was a bit souless. Could do with the lights dimmed, perhaps some candles and music. Otherwise really lovely place.

Propert sits high on a hill with a view over the Clyde to Dumbarton rock and beyond .Amazing views. golf course on site . Great dining with good choice of food. Lovely rooms either looking over the golf course or out to the Clyde. Spa facilities excellent. All round great experience !!
