Our Motel is conveniently located near shopping and schools. Hospital, movie theatre, Laundromat, and restaurants are within walking distance. Right on city bus line. Golf course across the street. “Basic Motel, Location Works”

This is a basic motel, not fancy or updated - plain, simple and clean. They have a nice pool. I stay here because I don't spend time in my room (except to sleep) when I am in Grass Valley. For the time I spend at the motel, the price makes sense.I grew up in Nevada City, I have no need to stay in a historical monument or simular. I have had my kids use the pool (they loved it). It is close to the hospital, between Brunswick and Main St, Grass Valley. Freeway access is easy. The continental breakfast is something you might want to skip - it is very, very basic.(Head over to Brunswick and pick up a fresh pastry or munchie at The Flower Garden). Everytime I have stayed there, they were hosting a family reunion. As for repairs... the towels are silly: basic white towels with a magic marker "H" on them. The coffee makers need to be replaced, last year our room was ant infested (they took care of it immediately), this year there wasn't a bug visable. Obviousely I have stayed there more than once, so it isn't that bad! One Star

“Never again”

This is a very old motel, recently rehabilitated in a crude way. White paint covers a multitude of blemishes. It was clean. The price was too high and definitely not good value. The breakfast offering was meager to say the least.
